Yes Stephen is correct. The GoPro mounts to the mounting plate with screws. There are 2 sets of screws, the longer set accommodates the BacPac. Michelle -KumbaCam

That's a great question I sold my bike (GSXR1000) prior to purchasing this unit so there is no way to know for sure unless you try it. My first thought would be that if I was just riding around town normally then probably no big deal, although it might seem a bit awkward with the added weight on top of the helmet. That being said I would not try it on my speed runs of triple digits as I think there would be to many wind issues and might also lose it. Hope tht helps! see less

While it is very interesting in how it operates, I still feel that it could be a little more compact, light and versatile when it comes to camera mount. Not being able to use the Go Pro camera with its case leaves it too exposed to the elements. In my case I will use it while skiing and my concern is if the camera won't freeze and the batteries wear out too soon. Other than that I think it is a little ingeneering marvel!

The Gimbal really is a game changer for my videos... they turn out soooo smooth. The battery life is pretty good, it is a bit of a tedious process setting up before a mountain bike ride (i wear it on my chest mount) but the payoff is great quality video. I've used it on several mountain bike trips and it makes a HUGE difference.

Overall build quality is excellent just like other products they manufacture. The possibilities are pretty much limitless on mounting such as mounting on a flash bracket while taking still photos, mounting on an RC car dolly. Virtually anything with a GP mount or a tripod mount. my experiences with these gimbals are as follows. Before purchasing Two of the WG's I had a G3, G4 and a Z1 Rider. all are great but limited for being a quick mount to anything type gimbal in a small foot print. The case is very handy and holds everything I need for a quick shoot. The reason I purchased two of them was so that I could run two cameras at the same time with different camera angles or different camera settings such as frame rate, exposure, etc... The only thing I wish it had would be a wireless remote to power on from a standby mode. I'll update this as I use them more in my applications.

Just showing you guys some footage from a GOPRO Hero 4 Silver, using the Feiyu Tech FY-WG 3-Axis Wearable Gimbal. Also I admit this is not some of my best riding, but I was so eager to test it out that I just tried it the next morning and these are the results. It does what it suppose to do, its a wonderful little device. However it could use some upgrades, the only thing that holds the GOPRO are 2 very some what small and thin screws and the one screw where the batteries go. Its not water proof as well. To sum it all up, if your tired of shooting really shaky video, buy this. I also read a lot of reviews saying that they wouldnt dare use the Gimbal in fast or shaky activities and I disagree, it holds up well. Just dont crash hard with it, easier said than done right? lol Happy riding or whatever the hell sport you do :) Thank you for watching! [...]

I have been using GoPro cameras while mountain biking for quite some time. When I received this as a Christmas gift I was pretty excited to try it out. Talk about smooth footage! I am impressed with the small form factor, battery life (2+ hours easy), and the performance. Hit the link for some MTB footage with the gimbal worn on a chest mount: https://vimeo.com/15061502

LOVE IT! Only made two quick videos but this thing is amazing. A real game changer. I predicted (to myself) last year that someone would come out with a 'wearable' 3-Axis gimbal to mount on helmets and bike or just about anything. Heading to Burningman in a few days and my plan is to wear this thing out walking and riding around the site. My only grips and there not criticisms are I wish you could get to the memory card without having to take the camera of the gimbal. (Update) It works with the camera in backwards. After watching an online review I realized this. I can now get the memory card out without having to take the camera off the gimbal. Also, I had a real hard time attaching it to anything using the t-mounts. The tolerances are so tight that if it isn't perfectly aligned you can't get it attached. Just observations loving using it. If it were to break after a weeks hard use at Burningman I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one - it's that impressive.

Great gimbal, you just have to be careful. A lot of people are complaining about theirs' breaking, I'm going to guess they either powered the gimbal on while there was no camera on it or they tried to manually move the camera in a direction other than tilting up and down. basically if you let it move freely, you should be good

Loving this wearable Gimbal! First attached this to a hand held mount and went for a "selfie" run. Finally eliminated the shakiness that caused my stomach to churn while watching unstable video! Next test, pedaled the hell out of my bike up and over all kinds of terrain - it hung on like a champ and recorded the smoothest video. Went for a run with the gimbal attached to my vest mount - people either stopped and stared at me for the bulky Feiyu Tech handing out of my mid section or the purple shorts and orange striped shirt I wear....not so sure, but the video was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend.

This is an amazing gimbal. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a gopro gimbal. The stability is off the charts good.. build quality is amazing.. battery life is great! Just an all around good product. The size is very nice.. not bulky. Two 1/4-20 mounting points make it easy to mount and the add on gopro mount hardware is an added bonus.

Works perfectly. Mounted a Hero 3+ and a 4 and both worked flawlessly. Instructions were adequate and I was up and running within minutes. Adds lot of weight when on a pole. mounted to the gopro seeker backpack and did not get in the way. Wish the case fit the gimbal with the mounts attached. Had to improvise and cut out the foam to fit mounts

so far so good and works as advertised. battery life is good. i've hit it while biking causing it to spin around and lose it's orientation but it resets itself when I turn it on and off. also you don't have to worry about the camera having been pointed downwards too much instead of forward as illustrated in the videos below. here's a video of 1 ride with the gimbal [...] same ride with same bike before i got the gimbal [...]
