I don't think that you have provided enough information for an answer. This is just the softbox and you need to put an external flash (speedlight) into it. And it does have to be a speedlight. It's basically an umbrella, so I would say yes. You have to attach it to whatever light source you're using. Most lights have an umbrella slot. It's not a softbox that you would attach to a light with a speed ring of some kind. It is an umbrella, just keep that in mind.

Like the soft box, it is a bit thin, but I saved a lot of money and it works very well. I have other people, I spent a lot of money, they stayed in the studio, it was very problematic to take them out and they are much bigger. . Godox 120cm / 47.in octagonal is a good price to buy.
