A It's just Softbox
I have a cheap "Cowboy" brand flash trigger system, and it works fine in my 10x15 foot spare room studio. Your brand and your environment might produce different results.

The zipper at the bottom restricts the angle it can be tilted to. You cannot point it up to the ceiling when mounted on a light stand. This type of octabox is only good for a horizontal mounting. You can slightly tilt the octabox (probably about 3 to 5 degrees) but it still looks pretty horizontal.

I don't see why it wouldn't, its just a reflective umbrella with a zipper-hole and a velcro-attached diffusion screen.

It does not include a mount. It is an umbrella rod. You need the adapter shown with the item, which Is a Bowen’s mount with a hole in it to put the umbrella rod through.

This is an umbrella with a diffuser. You need a light stand, and the top of the light stand should have a holder for the umbrella and a light source. The light source can be any flash or constant light source. Of course, if it is a flash, you need a trigger or a wire or perhaps a slave setting to fire it.

It's like a regular medium size umbrella and in the loge of 50 pounds it fits perfectly

I've tested it indoors and outdoor and the results are as good as I could hope for. This thing is awesome!! Sturdy, everything fits properly as it should, it's solidly constructed, and the materials are good quality. Simply set up your light stand, thread the vertical part of the stand through the zipper opening at the bottom of the umbrella and set it on the floor while you attach the light to the stand (you need either a light or a flash bracket that includes the ability to hold the umbrella stem,) now fully open the umbrella and slide the stem into the flash bracket or strobe, adjust the height, zip the zippers up to the stand, attach the diffuser and you are ready to go. I bought two, if you want to use it indoor, recommended 47inch, and for outdoor use 32 inch absolute is the most worthwhile. Anyway, I bought two, they all met my needs, very practical.
