It has a female connection to a standard size tripod screw. I'm not sure the exact measurement but I don't have to take it off once tightened onto my camera.

I'm not exactly sure the dimensions of the lens but the lens the a5100 comes with fits in there with plenty of room. And it's a really nice quality case

I have nothing bad to say about it. It fits my Sony alpha a5100 perfectly with the standard lense. I just realized it actually screws into the bottom of the camera and can screw into my tripod with the case attached. It provides decent protection as far as tossing it into my purse and it's easy to snap on/off for quick shooting. I'm not a pro photographer by any means, but I have studied fabrics in fashion design, and the material isn't cheap by any means. Stitching is great, fit is flawless. I only wish it had a cold shoe mount (top mount for mic/light) since the camera itself doesn't, but idk if that's even possible with this model. If anyone knows of any cases that do, please lmk :)

awesome case! Looks nice and feels secure. Cant believe the price for the quality I received. Also love that the strap is long enough to wear around neck or over the shoulder as opposed to just the wrist straps that come with some of the other similar cases. Will definitely look into getting other colors.

I ordered this for my Sony A5000. The case was designed to fit the camera with the 16-50 factory lens, it does this just fine and seems to be constructed very well. I am glad I purchased this for this my camera, seems as if it was a very wise decision to try it out instead of purchasing those that are priced for $49-$100.
