Nicely packaged light small, portable and no need to plug in as the dual batteries seem to have plenty of run time life. Remote also helps you not waste power while on battery and help on solo capture to make minute adjustments while looking through the lens. Definitely getting another one! The size and quality of a Videographers light is everything when it comes to portable equipment. We all struggle while using LED's because they are such a small hard source but by using a modifier you can quickly change a small 10" panel into a huge 4 foot light source that wraps nicely around your subject as demonstrated by the Crusty the Crab. Amaran LED Daylight Balanced Video Light with warming diffuser and also featured is a LimoStudio Photography Umbrella Reflector 43 inch soft white diffuser being used as a modifier. Good job Crusty!

These are by far the best lights that i have owned so far! I was a bit reluctant before getting them, but after 1 month of usage everything is working great. They come in a nice package and inside a pouch which is actually very handy specially to keep everything organized. The HR672W have 3 1/4 inch screw holes (1 left side, 1 right side, 1 bottom) that we can mount on any tripod, but on my particular case i prefer to use it on a clamp that i can place in one of my shelves above my head to better illuminate the scene. It also comes with a remote control that is very handy, when im about to shoot a video i just need to press the remote and start recording. Im so happy that when possible will get a second one to get rid of a stand lamp that i still have on the office. Powered by 2 external battery's that can be charged wile being used which is great and i dont need any other charger in the office. Also comes with the habitual documentation and 2 filters (Warm, White). Hope that its helpful All the Best RJ

Yes, it's cheaply made and don't think it'd stand up to use in photo productions for very long, but I'm using it as a reference balanced day light source to color correct fabrics with while retouching for clothing apparel catalogs. Using tungsten or any other light source that's not daylight balance nor cover the full spectrum will not give you accurate color to work by. I was skeptical of this unit claiming to have such a high CRI index, but after reading multiple reviews and tests which collaborated the companies claim, I've got to say I'm surprised at how bright, accurate and neutral this unit is. Have it mounted to a Magic Arm at the side of my desk. Unit is light weight, and the adjustable dimmer is perfect for matching it to screen brightness. For my purpose, it's perfect. If I were in need of using in production, I'd go with their more expensive unit (but still reasonable considering the competition) with the aluminum frame and standard plugs. Well done Aputure!!!

Man, LEDs - every kid who's decided to get a DSLR and become a filmmaker goes for 'em, I guess since they're the "latest tech thing". But for less than this price, you can get a lot more lumens from a quad biax flo. If you absolutely cannot get power for a shoot, it's better than "no lights at all", and stick a small umbrella in the mount and you have a walk-along light your grip can handle. But it's a fairly pitiful amount of light, more like a dual biax. So why 4 stars? It's not much of a key light - it's a joke of a key light, but it KILLS for things like hair lights, picking out a detail, getting a wash on a wall. Yes, it needs some kind of grid or barndoors (I've just wrapped it in black card) and if you block the vents, the thing will die a hot death. Still, very cool for corporate interview gigs, where you need to get in and out quick - you could pack 4 of these in the space of a 3" fresnel and add some sparkle to your setups without bringing an extra bag.

Il fait vraiment son boulot et éclaire très très bien. Avec le sac pratique et ses accessoires (double batteries, fixations pour le mettre sur un pied, etc..) la vie est plus facile. A conseiller

This light is awesome. The quality of light is extremely nice... it's definitely worthy of professional use. The build quality is nice and I like that it comes in a little carrying case.

This is an amazing light. The color accuracy is spot on and its very bright. Oh and it came with two large SONY style batteries. So a great value. I have the AL H160 as well and we have a round LED as well with barn doors. We know have all we need for interview shots. The 672W is bright enough and color accurate enough to offer fill on bright outdoor shoots.

This is a great product. I use it mostly for video but it comes in handy to add additional lighting to dark spaces for stills. It comes with soft case, batteries, a white & tungsten filter, adjustable tripod adapter, power supply, remote with battery, and x3 spare LEDs. It's lightweight, bright, and the remote allows intensity adjustment without having to move from the camera.

Works amazing. I switched to LED now that technology makes it even better. No need for all that power use, weight, and space. LED is the way to go and Aputure does an amazing job.

Generally I like it. Some things that would make it even better would be... 1) a bracket/yoke. The threaded connection seems a bit weak. 2) I run these off a switched outlet. It would be great if I could charge the batteries while the switch is on and then kill the power and have the lights turn off (I have to hit the switch on the back of the unit when I power down or remove the batteries).
