Must have if you take pictures with a DSLR/Point & Shoot. My camera has a bluetooth feature to transfer photos, but they're low res. This is IDEAL if you're on the go. Just the SD card in and connect to your phone - voila! Transfer all the photos (or any document you want) at full size. Also, works to transfer directly to your computer via USB. HUGE TIME SAVER.

I purchased this because I take a lot of pictures with my DSLR camera. In the past it was a hassle to post to social media because I had to download the photos to my computer first. With this device I can take the SD card out of the camera and connect it to my phone to immediately post or send photos to others.

No connection between your camera and phone? Pictures I took on my good camera on the SD card moved over to my phone and Facebook in a minute! No internet connection for my laptop? Get what I need on my phone, plug in the USB card reader to the phone and copy what I need to the SD card and then the laptop!

I obviously haven't kept up with technology - I had no idea that my phone had USB "to go." I typically take a (small) computer with me on trips so that I can download a copy of my photos each day for safekeeping. For a trip coming up my baggage allowance is seriously limited and I found this gem!

This is a great gadget. I bought it for my dad to look at his trail cam pictures and it works exactly as it is described! The best part is I got it so he could view it on the computer but it also works on his TV and this is even easier! Plus he has now discovered he can look at his phone picts on the television and this is super fun at family gatherings.

I really like that it was so easy to use to transfer my photos and files using this. My husband has a trail camera that uses an SD card and I am able to put that SD card into this and read on my computer..it's great! It can also read my MicroSD cards on my computer and transfer whatever pictures I want. I will also use this with my camera.

My daughter takes a whole lotta pictures on her phone. Then her phone memory card gets full and she wants the pictures moved to a computer or written to a disk etc. As a normal mom who doesn't do this type of thing a lot, I had to figure out a way to do it that I could understand! Are the other ways to do what she wants? Maybe, but this works for me and that is important. This little gadget makes that possible. I put the micro sd card into one of the slots and then I plug the memory stick like thing into my computer and I can manipulate the photos all I want. I even was able to help her move pictures from one micro sd card to one with bigger memory using this little device.

I tried this thing on a couple different SD cards from my trail cams and it worked great with no issues. Its going to change the way I deal with my trail cam pics. My old SD card reader would not read all the differnt formats, so I had to wait on some to get home before I could see the pics. I don't have a working laptop since it went down, so now I can just view the photos on my phone and dump all the pics onto my phone

I wanted to get my daughter this adapter since her small laptop does not have anything other than the USB port. She has been taking photos with 2 different devices that cannot share the pictures ro her laptop without the slots. This adaptor has the ability to take micro, sd cards and also a c cable to plug into her phone if she starts taking photos with her phone
