    This card read fits into one of the slots that you could install a DVD drive in, so it fits perfectly and looks great sitting flushed against the front of the desktop computer directly beneath the DVD Burner. It is easy to install, It has on two USB 2 cables for the 6 USB 2 ports and one USB 3 cable for the two USB 3 ports. I writing this by memory . I'm writing this by memory. The other card reader slots are connected by cable to COM1 port and the audio ports are connected to the HDAUDIO pins on the motherboard. It was very easy to install and it works very well. Every desktop computer needs one because it gives you additional USB ports and card reader ports, etc.

    This adds many features to an older desktop computer. I find the SATA and the power output very useful for reading or fixing hard drives without having to open the desktop to temporarily install the hard drive. The SATA connection is better then using a USB to SATA adapter, because windows 10 will not install on a USB plugged device, but it will install on an a SATA plugged HD. The only CON is that I which the power supply was a female plug. To make it usable for my needs, I purchased the "Manhattan, 6" SATA 15-Pin Male to Dual 4-Pin Molex Female Y Splitter, 308977". This adapter has a SATA power supply and two female Molex.

    I have an aging Z68 build with an i7-3770. Was looking to upgrade my front IO,... finally. I ordered the 5252E20 ( model A ) with sata/esata, molex, usb 2.0/3.0, headphone / mic,. micro SD (tf) m2, mmc, cf (compact flash) and SD card ports. I tinker around a lot with older LGA 1155 PCs and this comes in handy when I need to check out HD's or need to go through older PDA / digital camera memory cards. ((I ordered a female molex lp4 to female sata cable to test hds and optical drives))--> (4 Pin IDE Molex to Dual SATA Power Y-Cable Adapter 8.67 Inches )

    Installed easily though I wish the cables were a little longer. I was forced to install in a lower slot because of the cable length. Despite this set back, everything worked perfectly and I'm happy with the performance.

    My PC broke the wire inside the USB connector. It's unseen inside the case. Repairs seemed complicated to me. This panel was the only low-cost solution for me. Fixed the malfunction. And it got better. Instead of two USB splits now I have 8 USB on the front. Now you don't need a USB hub that didn't work well. This panel works well with Windows 10. I haven't tested the card reader, THE USB works well. Charges the iPhone, transmits the sound to the headphones. The purchase is completely satisfied.

    Hi Easy install Perfect for transferring that old hard drive to your new computer You’ll need a power converter wire for hard drives and a sata cable U must restart computer w hard drive running and plugged in to see the hard drive in finder After finished You’ll need to shut down the computer to unplug it to not cause data corruption to your old drive Works like a dream

    had a extra 3.1 usb connection on my mobo so what the heck got this io panel to plug it into had to get an adapter to go from usb 3.1 to 19 pin but they are cheap so not a big deal. everything seems to work fine sd reader works. no reason to use the audio jacks as only cavemen use headphones with audio plugs so don't know how they work everything else works fine.

    Works perfectly, and surprisingly high quality build. And doesn't split the USB 9 pin into too many sockets it actually has two cables to attach to the motherboard for the USB 2.

    The USB type-c connection there's nowhere to connect it on the motherboard, and it does not give you direction where to connected or how. If an adopter is needed or a PCI card.

    I test and refurbish motherboards on the side and this is the perfect accessory for testing all of the various USB headers on a motherboard without needing a ton of different pieces. Everything works great and functionally smooth. USBs and memory cards have enough tolerance to go in and out without getting scratched but arent just flopping around either. I don't have a case with a bay to fit this in so I'm trying to figure out a way to build a second one into my desk to use for my main computer.

    I have a very custom case that does not have any external ports built in, so this fit the bill nicely. Looks great, too! Note, you will have to have available ports on your motherboard for all ports on the Front Panel Hub to function correctly.
