It is plug and play for the most part. You don't need any software to do everything. Macros and complete single color options you will need the software but for single key or if you really want to full colors can be done completely from the keyboard FN key

No it doesn't have a USB Hub, But has 6 effects and editable RGB Color, the Cable Isn't Braided, and it also comes with a key cap puller. The keyboard is a solid Aluminum Finish with Laser Etched Keys.

It is possible to set individual keys to any color you want. This is achieved by choosing one of the "custom" modes (FN + F10, F11, or F12). You have to hit it twice to set the color. When the "F" button of your choosing is blinking, you know you're in the set up phase. At this point, while holding the FN button, you can change the color of the LED's by hitting the R, G, and B keys until you have a color you like set (this color can be seen on the flashing F# button). Once you have a color you want picked out, let go of the FN button, and start hitting the keys you want to be that color. Hit it once to set the color, hit it again to take that color off. Once the board is set up how you want, hit the FN + F# key again to save it. The only key that can't be set up this way is the FN button, and I haven't figured out how to set that one yet, or if it is even possible. see less

We now have a large variety of choices in Mechanical Keyboard market. Most of them other than major brands are operate through FN key. There is only a few keyboard in those minor that is operate with software. Keyboard They used Long Hua blue key switch with Cherry MX stem, double shot ABS key cap, RGB backlit color, 104 keys full size keyboard with standard key layout. NKRO. Fn+multimedia function keys. Package Their packaging is pretty much compact. There is keyboard protected with foam sleeve to prevent damage, user manual in English and 1 key cap puller. Build The top shell of keyboard is sandblasted aluminum coat and the rest is black plastic. They feel tough and sturdy. There is large logo above number-pad. Keycap is standard layout, they used a gamer like fonts on key cap but I am not a big fan of it because I am more prefer to regular key fonts. Top roll has multimedia function keys which you can use with FN key and you can also lock windows key by using FN+Windows. The bottom of keyboard has 4 rubber feet and 2 flip up feet with rubber tip. They used rubber coated USB cable with gold plated USB connector. There is a download link to their software on back of keyboard. Switch Long Hua blue key switch which I have never used that one before. It feels like nearly same as Outemu blue key switch but it is a bit heavier with 60g actuation force. LED They used SMD LED. It is true RGB keyboard. They have 9 different lighting modes, variety of brightness levels and speed which you can change with either FN key or through software. You can also customize your desire keys to light up and can save as profiles up to 3. There is also a unique Music like lighting effect which will light up only when you talk or there is music playing near keyboard. It is my favorite lighting effect. Macro This keyboard is very cool. You can set your desire macro key to any key on keyboard through software, make a profile of that and link to your desire application. So, that macro profile will load up when you open your application. You can also change the duration between your pressed and released keys order. Pros 1. Nice build quality. Tough and sturdy. 2. Gold plated USB connector. 3. Total of 10 lighting effects. Adjustable brightness and speed either with FN key or through software. 4. Key switch provide good tactile feedback. 5. It supports NKRO. 6. Cherry Stabilizer. 7. Software integration for Macro key function and specific profile. Cons 1. Non-braided USB cable. 2. No cable running channel. Non-removable USB cable. 3. Their software is a bit difficult to use hands-on first try but you will be good after spending couple of hours. 4. Middle row light will disapper in Raindrop lighting mode with slow speed. I think it is just a bug. 5. Need to disable macro key first when you are recording another macro key function. Overall this is a great mechanical keyboard. I can't tell the durability as the item is new. Thanks for reading this so far. Have a great day. Peace :D

I'm giving this five stars because for the price, it's a well made keyboard and the software comes in a label on the back (you'll need the encryption key for download). But I'm coming from a cherry mx brown keyboard at home and the difference is significant. More push is required, and it's a lot louder. Like quite a bit. Keep that in mind if you are looking to buy for an office.

I'm very surprised this keyboard hasn't gotten more love than it has. I've been researching keyboards extensively and have come to the conclusion that this is the best priced, fully mechanical, true RGB keyboard on the market abs to top it all off, it actually has pretty decent software for macros and to adjust the lighting. Not I will admit that not coming with a wrist rest is annoying but they can be had in the exact length of this keyboard for under 10 dollars and the combination of the two will produce a far better experience than any 70 dollar keyboard available. You add in the fact that this keyboard is available with blue switches, and you really can't go wrong here. I am fully committed to buying this I'm the very. Near future and promise to update this review but I highly doubt I will be changing my rating... Judging by the reviews on YouTube. If you're up in the air on which keyboard to buy, take it from me, I've done the research, and you won't get disappointed here.
