    I have bought several disk and card readers in the past and none of them worked very well. They all were slow and very unrealizable. This one was very easy to setup and use. It worked the first time and has not failed so far. I've mostly used it to access SATA drives and they connect very quickly and the transfer rate is very good.

    The instruction manual was concise and clear, even though I didn't really need it as using this product was intuitive.Applied power and the drive was immediately recognized by a laptop running Win 10.

    So far it has worked flawless, pretty much just plug and play. Great for using external hardrive when the power supply for the original is burned out.

    It does what I bought it to do, and is handy to put various flash cards into machines that only have usb2. If you want a device like this, it can't be beat for price. Three warnings. There is one slot for ide (pata) and one for sata. It cannot hold two of either type, only one or the other or both. Two, it won't work with Western Digital ide drives. They use a non-standard location for the connections, and things won't mate up. Three is just a matter of taste. The color scheme is a bit gaudy for my taste.
