You should not need a new controller. The brushless esc plugs into your receiver where your old esc is currently plugged in. The only caveat would be if your receiver and esc are integrated together.

Looks good. I've run it 5 times at full speed, trying to do it for 45 minutes each time to warm it up, but it gets hot, but I can always keep it. Strong added motivation for my traxas rustler xl5. It can also work with high speed gears and larger tires. ESC also stays cool. Get a bike pole!

Hell! This setting is great! Put this on my son's brushed RedCat volcano. By the way, I replaced 4 brushed engines in this truck. The installation is simple and fast! !! !! All you have to do is buy a separate programming card. I want to spend another $ 10. We have been running in the truck for some time without any problems.

The bad review may be due to a device failure, but I can only say that this configuration is really bad. It took me less than 20 minutes to install it completely on Team Durango DEX210 and Losi 22 2.0. I use it from the factory and I don't need a program card. You can even use a 3s battery. I brought both carriages to the track, wow. Much better than the 9.5t leopard, which is comparable to the fuse configuration in my other cars. I hope this engine and esc last a while, because I plan to add this esc and engine to the rest of the cars, trucks and cars without motor and esc, and just dusting in the closet. I recommend that you use this esc advertising engine, you will not be disappointed and the price is incredible. The installation program for 42 yuan is equivalent, sometimes even more than 200. Go ahead!

Well, I worked for the first time in R / C for about 6 years and I have 6 R / C, so I know what I'm doing. But yesterday afternoon I got this combination of engine and esc, I put it on Traxxas slash 2WD, I used 3000 MHH Venom NIMH, so there are so many traxxxas batteries in the truck, I'm very surprised by its quality And the engine I chose this combination on the other, because I could have arrived before Halloween, and all my friends and I were carrying their trucks, so I'm glad to follow them without a brush, wow, yes. At this point, I was crazy and crazy like IVE, I have a combination of Castle Rattlesnake 3 and velineon, and this esc / engine is 100 billion times better than I thought. The only thing I don't like is that the shaft is a little shorter, but the pinion doesn't touch the straight gear. This is my only complaint, but this is my only complaint. I put the same ESC and engine on the pedal, rusty places, tellurides, 4x4 cuts, and they worked very well during the work of each truck. So the conclusion is just that, but its definition is worth it!

This is in fact what you expect. To that end, I was just looking for something that could fit in an old-fashioned off-road vehicle to get it going and make it fun. In this sense, my complaint is zero, and this configuration brings many powerful features and speeds, easy installation and perfect operation. I am sure that long-term features can be worrisome, but there are no complaints about the price paid for this configuration.

The ESC fan is actually incredibly quiet, the wiring is impressive for something that is so competititively priced, and the billet aluminum can for the brushless motor shows no lack of craftsmanship. The amperage rating on the ESC is correct, as it handles a 5200 mah 3s LiPo with no problem at all! It seamlessly paired with my receiver package I already had and was wired in, ready to race, in a matter of 30 seconds . Very impressed with the quality of this product, and can’t wait to see how it performs over time . :)

Just installed in my traxxas stampede. Runs great, straightforward install. Over the factory xl5 with titan 12 brushed motor this thing is probably 8-10 mph faster on 2S Lipo. Seems like perfect balance of power-speed-controlability. Haven't tried on 3s yet. Have about an hour run time on it so far, temps are good, can touch motor and esc after 30 min run. Could use better directions for programming the esc and fan is quite noisy.
