Questions & Answers
It will fit on most lenses up to a certain size, comes with several adapters. I use on standard Nikkor 18-55mm lens.

It sometimes comes of with my uv protector as well so to prevent that I re tight it and hold my uv protector with my thumb and presto ! The key is to not screw in your adapter too tight in the first place just enough so it's safe

Seems to work on all Canon DSLRs. Did on both my 60 D, and 5DMkII. More lens filter specific, than camera specific. triuggered by hot shoe, and can be continuous or flash, with a few stops of brightness. Not really bright enough for hand holding in dim light, but on a tripod, and a longer exposure quite adequate.

My work fine with any type of batteries.

I use it only on a Canon DSLR but see no reason it wouldn't attach to the lens of any other make of camera. However, you should understand that regardless of camera manufacturer this ring flash will not give you TTL --through the lens metering.
By Charles W. Scarcliff on June 23, 2017
The unit should work on any brand of camera that has 1) a hot shoe and 2) threads on the lens(es) to attach the mount.

It usually takes 7-20 days to be delivered.

If you get one that works, it should work on your camera. Mine works on a rare occasion. I'm going to try to exchange it! It is not super bright, so it's only good for up to a few feet away.

yes, it adapt to lens, has nothing to do with camera model. it work for your camera.
By Kayoko Chiba on April 26, 2018
Yes, it will work with your Nikon, if you reverse your lens, you would need to figure out a way to attach the ring flash to the back of the lens.

I did a lot of research before buying this until I thought that I had found the best ring light out there for the best price. It makes very professional looking videos and is great for macro-photography but is it the best ring light?...well, It's super bright and fits ok on my camera but...you need four AA batteries to power this thing and I've burned through at least 12. I just hate that fact and especially since batteries are so expensive these days. Although it does come with lens adapters it does not fit on tight. The light spins on the lens if you move which doesn't affect the photos or videos

I love this and would recommend without a doubt! It's got settings of brightness and just left or right side lighting of the ring. It also can be on or used as a flash. I used it as a flash light not to long ago when it was dark out and it is bright! The only thing I was worried about when I first got it was the time it took to come on. Once I realized you need to hold the on/off button down until the light actualy comes on all was great! It can be used on or off the camera...I have a Nikon d3200. It also comes with rings to make sure it will fit any lens size. AG

In order to assess the product, one should also look at the price. Considering the price of the unit, although made of plastic, it seems sturdy. It does need to be tender care when packing to ensure that plastic rings do not break. The unit puts out bright light in the flash or continuous light mode for my needs. I am very happy with the unit and will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to veture into macro photography and needs additional light close to the subject. Added bonus is its use as a portrait light for a single subject. Try it, it's worth the price.

This item works great with my Nikon D3200, when I first tried it I thought it was broken because I couldn't get it to turn on, however upon reading the instructions figured out you have to hold the on/off switch for 2 seconds. You can tell the instructions were translated into English not that well, but you can muddle through and figure it out. I quality of the light works fine. Shipping was quick.

I only use the Meike FC-100 for macro photography (continuous light mode) with the OM-D E-M1 and the Olympus MFT 60mm f2.8 macro lens. Results are quite remarkable, given the low price of the FC-100. One word of caution for OM-D users: the Olympus 60mm macro has a 46mm front thread and the FC-100's smallest adapter is 52mm. No problem though; all you need to purchase is a simple step-up adapter (46-52) and you are good to go. If you have a camera that can capture custom white balance, then I found my best color accuracy was when I used my Expodisc pointing directly to this light source and saving a custom white balance. I found that the E-M1's "auto white balance" produced a slightly green cast to my images (probably a result from not using color accurate LED's, but I am not complaining, due to the low price of this macro ring light). I can't imagine the "flash" option is very practical, given that is not TTL and one must manually set the camera to 1/100 second shutter. It is moot for me anyway, since the products I shoot in macro need continuous light for setup / workflow speed). And here is a tip to save your battery (in continuous light mode) - Instead of long pressing (~2 seconds) the on/off button between images, just toggle the light button. As this will place it in the flash standby mode, then one more press of the light button will place it in continuous mode. Hope this review helps those OM-D system users out there.

I have edited my review because I was very wrong. They stated it would take 3 weeks but it was at my home in normal time way ahead of the schedule(less than 1 1/2 weeks). Why they said 3 weeks is beyond me but it got here in great time. This macroflash unit is amazing. It will flash as fast as 6 flashes a second( that is as fast as my camara can go)It has many settings and functions and is really lighter than I expected. The meter on the head unit is a big plus for seeing the settings. This product is worth way more than I paid for it or others with much higher cost. The multi ring adapters make useable on ever lense I own and it is easy to use. I also have to give kudos to the store that shipped it for the delivery time.

This flash/light is BRIGHT! ordered it for my Nikon d3200, and it works great!. Takes 4 "AA" batteries. Works great as a solid light, and works even better as a flash. Eliminates so many more shadows than my pop up flash! Lights up an entire room. Didn't add too much bulk to the camera as it is fairly light weight. Went above and beyond my expectations! It came with a lot of adapters so it fits all of my lenses. EXTREMELY satisfied. Would recommend to anyone with the capability to add a flash to their camera.

This has been a lot of fun learning to use. It comes with lots of different attachments to fit different types of cameras. The instructions are poorly translated so it's a lot of trial and error. It is battery operated and a short photo shoot (15 minutes) sucked the life out of them pretty quickly. I thought it was broken, but thankfully it was the batteries. I had to watch a YouTube video on how to use this, but I really like it.

could be brighter, but this is an excellent flash/light. Eventually, I will replace the LEDs with higher output. For uses within a few feet, this is perfectly adequate, butt don't expect, of course, to use it as a ring flash in portraiture other than headshots. This model is very well made, good quality buttons, solid plastic, well-supported wire. Would be nice to modify it for mounting to all the sizes of lens automatically, without requiring mounting on the (included) very very nicely-made lens-mount rings. The flash has an auto-off feature to preserve batteries, butt if you hold the power button for 3 seconds, it will go into sleep mode -technically it's not truly "off", because it's a "soft off" IE there is always a monitoring current being run through it. Many devices will run down the battery even in sleep mode, like a car, or much worse: an Ipod or Macbook (until battery's permanently kaput), but this light still works if you leave it sitting for many months -just have good low-self-discharge rechargeables in it, like Sony or Sanyo.

I got this accessory to use when photographing lichens and mosses. I use a Canon EOS 7D and either a Canon 60-mm EF-S macro lens or a Canon 28-135 mm "macro" lens. Sometimes I add close-up lenses if I can tolerate the loss of depth of field. I've rarely used the Meike in flash mode, as I often don't mount it on the lens. Lichens especially are better photographed with side lighting, so I hand-hold the ring while looking through the viewfinder. I can place the light just outside the frame, where its relatively low output is enough to get reasonable shutter speeds (less than one second) at f/32 and ISO 100, even in dimly-lit environments. I'd like more power, but who wouldn't? The batteries last quite a while (I use rechargeable Li-Ion cells) and the unit is light enough that I don't mind adding it to the field pack. The Meike ring light does the job, and I think it's a good value.
