My guess is it works similar to what it does on my A-7ii. It's focus is a lot slower than I expected. At times it doesn't focus well, but this may be due to my impatience. I haven't used it much, but when I do, I typically use manual focus. Still, glad I bought it. Thought I would use it alot with my Canon 24-105 f4, but I've been using the Sony 28-70 for most of my shots. see less

I have no idea if it work on Sony a7s or not. It works fine with my Sony A7r in manual mode. It hunt a lot in auto forcus mode, not worth trying. So far I have not heard any other brand work on my A7r, including those cost around $4oo or more. Viltrox is cheap and good.

I've tried mine with an EF 24-105 and it works. However, not even the Metabones works with all lenses. I'd suggest you go to one of the forums such as the one at dpreview.com, and ask members there if the lens you have works for them with the Viltrox. An alternate would be to contact whoever you bought it from and ask them.

I believe it is a very high-quality plastic. It seems very sturdy. I have only had the lens adapter for 10 days but during that time I have never felt that I needed to "baby" it or handle it delicately.

I am not sure; I own a Sony a6000, I would send an email to Viltox or consult their website.

It looks like there isn't an entry for this Sigma on Brian Smith's page. But he's done a terrific job compiling some data if you're interested in how other lenses function with this adapter. http://briansmith.com/canon-ef-to-sony-e-mount-smart-adapter-compatibility-guide/

I don't own that lens, so I can't confirm that it does or comment on how well. It works with all of my Canon lenses, but some better than others. Any third party adapter is going to be at least somewhat hit and miss. Which body you're using may also play a part. I'm still using the original a7R.
