I use it for Rbgw leds in my Dodge Challenger halos with no issue am guessing the Rbgw is what you are considering 4 conductor leds

It will store your last setting. I use it on my led color changing halo lights. I keep them on blue to match the car. It stays on blue unless I change it with my phone

Happy lighting some times it is a little tricky getting it to connect. If you are having trouble turn phone off and back on

If you have only 1 color you don't need it unless you want to turn it on and off via Bluetooth , you only need 12v dc , I run rgb lights with them without W and work fine so my guess only white would work too, you can run 3 strips with 1 controller
