My unit has a changed power supply: Instead of one AAA cell it requires two AG 13 button cells, but looks identical from the backside. Put both cells into the whole with spring on the left side with the + pointing to the back side, the identical whole without spring on the right hand side is left empty. I had read over the clock display capability (even in 24h format) and was pleasantly surprised to find it. Counting the time upwards is also possible, if no time was set before. The owner's *manual* is somewhat slim, so I repeat here, that one can switch back to clock mode if all three buttons are pressed simultaneously. (After 5 minutes this happens automatically.)
