    I purchased this item from China The kit is easy to assemble if you have prior electronic kit building experience. You will need a very small tipped soldering iron for this project. The solder pads are very small. Detailed assembly instructions are available online as well as the printed instruction sheet that came with the unit. Total assemble time for me was around an hour and another 30 minutes trying to figure out how to set all the parameters. Not too complicated. However, the buzzer kept going off on the hours and I could not find a way to stop it in the setup. Since I had no need for any alarms on the clock I simply unsoldered and removed the buzzer. Problem solved. The temperature display is pretty accurate and the auto brightness works well. How well it keeps time has yet to be determined. All in all this is a fun kit at low price.
