    Purchased to replace a 30W equivalent halogen, but I wanted a brighter bulb. These were perfect - I’d estimate equivalent to 40W halogen. Nice warm light.

    I was leery that these would be bright enough, but they are very bright. I replaced one of two burned out 40 watt halogen bulbs in a kitchen vent hood. The replacement LED is just as bright as the halogen. They are also sized exactly the same as the original 40 watt halogens. Good purchase that I'd make again - recommend.

    These bulbs work well, are bright, and have a warm glow to them. Two issues I had with them: A) brightness, these, with the rating of 600 lumen, are slightly brighter than 20W halogen. It could be my lack of knowledge of lumens, but when I got other lights with 400 lumen they were much brighter than the 10W halogens they replaced. I don't blame the lights, I blame the whole "lumen" concept. B) Since they are so smooth, they were very hard to install, nothing to grab onto, and my lights are somewhat deep. I had to improvise and used kitchen tongs. Overall, though, they are a good replacement for halogen bulbs.
