This is my second set of these segmented lures so I figured it was time to let others know how well these lures perform. The multiple joints are outstanding. I have 2 sets of them because they are so life-like in the water and they move just like real fish whether I retrieve it slower or faster. Perfect for the 1-3 pound bass & speckled trout that I target in the nearby ponds and lakes. I'm very happy with these segmented lures and can’t wait to go fishing these days, hope it gets warm soon. Very Satisfied.

Baits looked nice when I pulled them from the package. Tied one on one of my fishing poles and went out to the farm pond. First cast the bait seemed to pull to the right when reeling in, and tended to do that to some degree all casts. Third cast caught a small bass, then next cast caught a big bass that broke my line after a couple minutes fight. Tied a second bait on and caught another 6 pound bass on second cast. This bait also pulled and tracked to the right. I caught 5 more smaller bass within a half hour. These seem to mimic bluegill quite well. Happy with it even not tracking straight.

Since I bought these fishing lures, my friends, and I have caught 2 bass and 4 rainbows. The baits look like a real fish, and the quality is awesome. These baits float on the water if you reel slow, and as you reel it faster, they go down into the water, therefore you can catch different kinds of fish depends on how fast you reel in. These baits are just awesome. Highly recommend it to everyone who loves fishing! If you think my review is interesting or helpful, please rate it as "helpful." So haven't caught anything with it yet, but I've only just got it and have only used it once. I love the colors. It swims beautifully however and so lifelike. For a basic description, for newbies like me, it floats on the water when not in motion, and will swim and dive downward quickly if reeled in quick. If you just slowly reel it in, it'll keep at a level depth. Overall, it's a great price, and I love the look and movement of this lure. I have already bought one for my younger brother as well.

I don't understand the bad/mediocre reviews of this lure. We caught a huge Peacock bass on the 2nd cast. Someone also said it doesn't cast well. This person is probably using anchor chain as fishing line or something. We use 16 lb test, and this thing flies out a good 100 feet or more. Can't say exactly how far, but it disappears into the distance. It wiggles like a real fish would swim, which really attracts the big predators. We caught a snag after an hour or so. We waded out in waist-deep murky water and rescued it. That's saying a lot here in Florida, where gators are as common as houseflies!

I had seen lures similar to these advertised on Facebook so looked for the equivalent on Amazon. I obviously didn't read everything because when the lures arrived they were every bit of 5" long! My pond is only about an acre and a half so I'm not sure if they'll entice the fish to bite or if they'll scare them away. I'm giving two of them to my grandson who lives/fishes in Texas where everything is bigger...including this lure.

I highly recommend this product for bass fishing, they move way better than other swimbait. Comparable to the other low-priced options that you will find elsewhere, I am impressed by its vivid swimming action, they work so well. There are also color options to be chosen, which makes it practical for different occasions.
