Yes. You can do that with HomeKit automations. That’s how I have mine set-up.
By Juan De Dios Guerrero on May 8, 2018
I have not found a way to do that in my home. They do not offer a multiple switch cover yet. I have only replaced single switches so far.

No, it just supports Apple homekit devices at this moment.

You can use whatever wire your electrical system has, as long as you have the room in the box to fit a red or yellow wire nut. I had to purchase red wire nuts cause, I believe they will hold a better connection.

Works just as described. I am not very skilled when it comes to this kind of stuff but I was able to easily install it and pair it with my phone. I thought I would need to have someone else install it but it was much easier than I expected. I usually need my daughter to help with electronics and especially with pairing devices but this was so easy even I could figure it out! The switch also appears to be high quality, not some cheap plastic device and I love how the switch looks. Very classy and modern looking! Now I just need to buy a few more!

The mechanical wiring couldn't have been easier. The photo diagrams and labeling on the wires made it so simple to install. It did take a little while to hook it up to the smart app and connect and title the lights. I would say it took me about 20 min but be patient because it is so worth it. We are in the process of remodeling our basement because the house is built on the hillside and the light switch was placed by the patio door and not the stairs I thought this would be a great option to try. Boy was I right. We have the double light switch to run the basement lights and the patio light and it's been really nice when we have been sitting outside and it starts to get dark to just tell Siri to turn on the light without even having to get up and go inside to do it. I will say it only works when ur connected to the wifi network so keep that in mind. I would recommend this product to any homeowner looking for a budget friendly way to bring there home into the smart world. It is a great product at a good price. You will get more then what you hoped for.

I got this because I recently got an iPhone, and Apple TV. This is the first smart switch I have purchased. It seemed pretty easy to install (must have a neutral wire). And I put it in my living room where I usually spend all my time. There's no hub required, just need a wifi connection. You can use Siri voice controls from your iPhone. Or you can use the Koogeek home app for free. I didn't have a problem with the switch at all. You can monitor the lights from your home thru the Koogeek home app as well. It's nice to control your lights when you are running late, or on vacation. So far I am very impressed with this product. And plan to buy more in the future.

This Koogeek Smart WiFi Light Switch for Apple HomeKit with Siri Remote Light Control Switch on 2.4Ghz Network No Hub Required Single Pole , comes with everything needed to install. This is sized at 6 x 4.8 x 1.8 inches . With this Smart Light Switch , you can enjoy the convenience of connected lighting. You will be able to switch your lights on and off in your home remotely. Even multiple lights with Siri voice commands. Even with your iPhone. This is compatible with all single pole light switches. This can not be used in 3-way light switches. Using a metal face-plates is not recommended. This is very easy to install, to replace your old switch. Simply, quick and easy. It works great. It is easy to work. Easy to push. The plate is durable and heavy duty. Very well made. This can easily be paired with your smartphone. No more worries about having to get up to turn the light off and on . Just simply use your cell phone. Everyone home needs one.

Those HomeKit compatible switches work as advertised. Adding the switches to the Home app was easy, and the remote access feature works. I did not even bother to install the Koogeek app. I have compared these switches made by iDevices and Lutron. The iDevices switches are great, fit a standard wallplate, and work as advertised. The Lutron switches require a hub- no thank you. The Koogeek are less than 1/2 the price of the iDevice switch. Installation of thr Koogeek switch was easy- the problem arose when I tried to put the switch in a 3 gang arrangement. Thr switch is a non standard size, and is deeper than a typical switch. I had to purchase an extra deep wall plate cover from Kyle Switch plates. Even with that-the switches do not fit in the standard opening. I installed one of the switches in my garage, which was a 1 gang installation. The included faceplate worked well here. Summary: great price option compared to iDevices switch, my gold standard, and for 1 gang installation. Proceed with caution on multiple gang installations.

This wasn't as easy to program like I thought it would be. My daughter has the iPhone and the Apple Watch and it took a few times to get it to connect, but it kept dropping connection. Not sure why that happened. We tried to use my granddaughters iPhone 7 to try and , it connected, but once again it dropped the connection. We are gonna keep it bcuz it's a cool gadget. We just have to be patient with setting it up. Lol. I live talking to Siri on any device, so that's a plus with this being voice activated. I would recommend this purchase to everyone!! It's not like the switch plate is overly big and out of place.

I love reading or watching a few Youtube videos or movies before going to bed and one of the thing I hated the most was I could never fall asleep because I would always have to get up to turn off the light everytimes. By the time I got back on bed. I wasn't able to fall back to sleep. With this smart switch now I can easily turn off the light with just a click and a voice on my iPad. So convinient!! With this I am no longer have to walk in my room dark at night. Light can be turned on before I walked in. I love this product. Made my life much easier. Very easily installed. Instructions can easily be followed. Nice packaging too. Overall I would recommend this to everyone or anyone that has the same struggles. :)

This smart switch is really cool. It's easy installation just please turn off the circuit breaker first before doing the electrical. It's 100-120v ac alternating currenT and has 3 wires. I'd suggest to take a picture of your old switch internals before installing this one for reference. You must be on wifi for this to work and download the Koogeek app. Adding the device I had to restart the app a few times but it's working great now. I can use it to control multiple different koogeek devices and they work great. Perfect for anyone wanting to create a smart house. I can have the lights turn on in the driveway before walking into the house. A big plus for me.

I wanted smart lights around my house for convenience but didn’t want to rely on the individual lightbulbs as it doesn’t seem well integrated and kind of ruins the point of a light switch so for that I got a more permanent solution such as this light switch. Installation was relatively simple if you know your way with electronic switches. I had to push in the switch by force as this had its components sticking out in the back and the wires were also in the way. The switch, after installed, looks perfectly normal. With the app, paring the switch was a little troublesome but after this initial pair, it would work completely fine, no issues. It makes home lighting feel more innovative and futuristic. Overall it works pretty well. I use this as a safeguard to make sure all the lights in my house are turned off after leaving as I am capable of doing so and to use this to illuminate my house as I do come home every day late at night and everything is usually pitch dark.

I really like this switch. I was sad to learn that half of my house has old wiring that doesn't support this switch (you must have neutral wiring available in the switch box). Once I found a compatible switch to replace I found it an easy process. The switch itself is unremarkable, a button with a little green status light. But the app and HomeKit support is really cool. First the included app does some of the home app's jobs like setting scenes. But the app also tracks power usage over time (and real time), I removed a bulb from the fixture in the room and the wattage being used dropped accordingly. The home app also enables Siri control (see video) and an iPad or Apple TV left at home as a hub provides support for remote access to the switch from anywhere with internet and setting up automations like having the light turn off when you leave the house or on when you return.

It was super easy to install, once I figured out the wiring differences between this switch and my previous setup. My old switch was wired in using two black wires (live) connected at the same power feed, one red wire (load), and the copper ground wire. I had two white (neutral) wires capped with a wire nut and tucked away in the back. My photos show the old switch connected, and the new switch with wires attached. I've also included a photo of the wiring diagram. So I connected white to white, black to black, and red to red. Since 2 of my wire bundles consisted of 3 wires (3 black and 3 white) the wire nuts provided with the assembly were just a tad too small. So I picked up some larger wire nuts from the hardware store. The copper ground wire is not used, so I tucked that away in the back of the box. Lastly, my video shows the switch in action when speaking to Siri. Also note that you can still manually turn the switch on or off, or you can access your switch(es) from the Koogeek app, and simply tap to turn on or off. I am very pleased with the product, and I intend to purchase additional switches in the future.

Installation was a breeze and connecting to my HomeKit was easy too, But for certain it is a poor design, The idea behind a LED is to help you find it in the middle of the night when it is dark. in this instance not so much. I have several switches from different manufacturers so I was surprised when I noticed this one's LED would only be on when the switch is on. So I reached out to Koogeek and was surprised to find out from them that their design is that way ... and they will try to improve on it.

My main light switches are Lutron Caseta switches. I had some under cabinet lighting in the kitchen that is non-dimmable and wired by a switch controlling outlets in the cabinets. So I couldn't use a dimmable light switch. Apple HomeKit is my main requirement to work in the house's ecosystem. I found this Koogeek switch and the reviews seemed good so I gave it a try. The wiring was simple. Make sure you have a neutral available. Then the problem happened. I was adding this switch into a 4-gang box that had two other switches and an outlet. Based on the picture and my experience with Lutron Caseta, I bought new decora switches and an outlet as well as a 4-gang decora cover. Screwed all the devices into the box and got ready to install the cover. Turns out, this switch uses a proprietary faceplate cover. It will not fit into a standard decora plate. I was too far along to stop. Instead of returning this headache device, I broke out the exacto knife and some wire cutters. I had to cut some useless plastic bulk off the outlet and widen the space on the faceplate. Not only was the switch too wide and tall to fit the plate, but it sticks out farther from the wall than normal devices. The pictures show how this ended. I'm not thrilled at the customization and very annoyed that the switch and faceplate are both custom sizes. But on the plus side, HomeKit setup for the switch was easy. It comes up as a "switch" by default, so I had to change it to be a "light" in the HomeKit app so that Siri worked when I told it to turn off the lights. There is a small noise from the relay inside the switch when activated or deactivated, but it's not a deal breaker. If you have a single gang box and this is the only switch in it, this is probably a decent choice. But do not think you can add one or more of these to a box that has multiple devices.

I wished I'd read all the reviews here before buying so I knew that it does NOT work with multiple gang boxes/switches. It makes zero sense to me why Koogeek did not build this around an existing standard to fit a standard electrical box. It's proprietary arrangement that adapts to a single-gang box. I've included photos of how I adopted it to work in double gang box, but it's so hack. I trimmed the top and bottom mounting flanges off the switch and then clearanced the hole in the decorator switch plate so the koogeek switch face would fit. A small hole was drilled in the switch plate to access the reset button. Then the front section of the switch was removed and epoxied it the switch plate. The back section with the pigtails was wired into the box. The switch plate / switch front combination was then snapped back into the switch back section, and then mounted to the box. The switch was simple to set up with HomeKit and works as advertised, but I think the proprietary mounting arrangement is complete nonsense.

Works as expected, but I have 1 suggestion: it seems it would be easy enough to make it shaped/sized to fit standard decora wall plates rather than *just* the single plate that comes with it. The included plate works fine if you're replacing a single switch with a 1 switch wallplate, but if you're replacing one that is next to other switches, there is no easy way to cover all the switches with a single plate, since this one is a tiny bit larger than the normal rectangular rocker switch size. The only other things to be aware of (which are well documented), is to make sure you have a live and neutral wire (needed to power the switch when it's "turned off" so the wifi still works), and that it only works with single switches (not multi-way switches where you have multiple switches controlling 1 light). Overall, I am quite happy with it, I just wish I could buy a wallplate that would cover it and the switches next to it correctly

I currently own another Koogeek product, a blood pressure monitor, that my family and I liked quite a bit. We use it weekly to keep track of our BP history. We were in the market for a smart light switch so that when we leave our home for an extended period of time (vacation), we could control and simulate the lights inside our house as if we were still home. Our goal was to minimize the possibility of someone breaking in. Installation was straight-forward like a standard light switch, and once it was in place, I had to pair it to our WiFi. Next, I installed their Koogeek Home app from the Apple Store (unfortunately, they do not support Android yet -- I emailed the manufacturer and they have no plans for the Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or Microsoft Cortana at this time) and was able to control the switch using the app and Siri. The same app also lets you schedule the light to turn on and off at certain times and days. You do need an iPad or Apple TV left at home in order be able to control the switch from outside your home internet (as a home hub) via the Apple HomeKit. As an added bonus, the app also shows you energy usage over time. Standard plate covers (Leviton, Decora, ...) do not fit this light switch -- only the included Koogeek plate does. Keep that in mind if you want to install this switch with other switches under the same face plate cover. I hope that Koogeek will enable Google, Alexa, and/or Cortana support in the near future via a software update. All in all, a decent product.

It's really amazing just how far technology has come. It's so neat how the iPhone has evolved in what it is today. You can literally control your home devices now with you phone... how cool is that! I got this because I am tired of everyone in my home leaving the basement light on. It's such a pain and for some reason that light switch always gets forgotten. So that's where my smart switch was installed. I can now use my iPhone to make sure it's off if I am upstairs in bed or just sitting on the couch and too lazy to get up and check. This is pretty amazing. It took a bit to figure out the installation as none of us are electrically inclined but after a bit of persistence it was figured out. This is definitely a smart light switch in so many ways!

I was very skeptical about purchasing these switches. However after some youtubing I decided to go with Koogeek. Easy to setup! Connects to my wifi with ease! Does NOT drop off unless my wifi is moved around. Now to the real fun part, works with HomeKit, although I am not a fan of apple, I have 2 ipads (used for flying) and decided to test on my trip. I tun on and off my lights at home withing 1 second. some people say delays I tested via Video chatting and BOOM was almost instant. I am very pleased and would invest in more of these.

This is my 2nd Koogeek accessory and I've been beyond happy with them both. It's so convenient to be able to control my lights thru my phone, especially late at night either when we first come home or when we just forgot to turn them off. I had my husband set this one up for me and he said it was just as easy as installing any other light switch. Now, I absolutely love this light switch and it does come in handy but there is something that would have made it perfect. And that is the switch plate, you have to use the plate that it comes with it because the outlet is to thick to be placed behind my existing switch plate. So if you have custom switch plates, this would not be the smart wifi switch for you. Because of this, I ended up having to use it in my closet (dirty closet that's why door is only open a little) and not to control my fan and light as I originally intended it to be. Also, that is why only Switch 1 in the video works and nothing happens when I hit Switch 2. Also only works if you are connected to the same WiFi as the device but it would be AWESOME if you'd be able to connect to it outside of your home.
April 22, 2017
This is my second Koogeek HomeKit product. Based on my positive experience with the "P1" socket switch, I bought this as soon as it was released. This switch works perfectly. It responds almost instantly when activated from the phone, and it works just fine as a physical switch. I also have the Elgato Eve wall switch. That switch uses Bluetooth (slow response from phone) and has no physical switch (capacitive or something instead). They are similarly priced, so the Koogeek is the no brained choice for this solution.
