This product is an elegant solution to my needs of using a ttl flash with a radio for off camera lighting. I feel the build quality could be a little stronger, but haven't had an issues yet. My biggest complaint about this product is their should be one shoe directly above the cameras own hot shoe. This would allow the autofocus beam emitted by my camera to actually stay on center with where my focus points are aiming and actually help my camera autofocus. A redesign with the left most shoe directly above the camera shoe would really solve this issue for me. So far I recommend it. I have not tried it using two ttl devices. Just one ttl flash and one simple radio.

I'm a wedding photographer and I planned to use this at receiption It's true that only ONE hotshoe can be TTL at a time But it's OK for my purpose tho Here's my setup Andoer Dual Hot Shoe bracket on camera, manual flash on one hotshoe and Odin II on the second hotshoe TTL signal goes to Odin and just trigger to manual flash Both would fire Now my problem is solved where I can have full Odin control, but still have on camera flash I took one star out because it's meant to be dual TTL But I suspect this is more of a TTL limitation My purpose served, can't complain

I purchased this adaptor as I use a GPS receiver on my Canon EOS70D and this locks off the hot shoe for the built in flash. The adaptor allows the use of the GPS receiver and the mounting of a Speedlite 580EXII or an external microphone (using the jack input so no electrical connection to the adaptor). From early testing the combination of the Speedlite and the GPS receiver do not appear to work concurrently which does not come as a complete surprise as they may share some of the contacts functions. With the GPS adaptor connected with the Speedlite the flash worked as normal but when checking the GPS data on the photos it was not present. I bought the adaptor so I could use the GPS receiver and an external microphone at the same time so the primary use successful. If further testing reveals that the Speedlite and the GPS work concurrently then I'll update this review. The quality is good and strong enough to support the weight of the Speedlite although the "Chinglish" instructions state that a maximum load of 300 grams is recommended.

I sometimes shoot in situations where I flip back and forth between stills and video. For stills, I might have a flash. For video, I have a shotgun microphone. It's a nuisance dismounting one and mounting the other since they each want the hotshoe on top of the camera. This product solves that problem. Since it's "hot", the flash still works as expected. The mic doesn't care about the hot contacts, but still mounts happily in the other shoe. Some reviews have talked about conflict between two flashes mounted simultaneously in the two shoes. I haven't used it that way, so I can't comment. One annoying thing that I can't blame the product for, but you might want to be aware of if you plan to use it as I've described: The mic is rather long, extending quite a bit further forward than the flash. So it casts a shadow sort of in the corner of the frame at wider focal lengths. Oops.

Excellent little bit of Kit (I bought the one for Nikon Cameras). I have a Nikon D500 & required something so as I could have a flash & video Mic both connected at same time. This little gadget is brilliant & allows me to do just that. Having said that I'm now using it in conjuction with the "Pixel I-TTL TF-322 Hotshoe Adapter" (Nikon version). Putting the Andoer Dual Hotshoe into the Pixel gives more hight, meaning it's easy to see the top LCD screen on top right of my camera. With just the Andoer it made it difficult to see that LCD screen. I can highly recommend this excellent bit of Kit. I would also advise you get the Pixel I-TTL if you have an LCD screen on the top right side if your camera. 2 brilliant items, well worth buying.

Just what I needed! This dual hot shoe bracket allows me to place my Solmeta Geotagger and a Nikon Speedlight atop my Nikon DSLR at the same time, allowing me to get the full benefits of a correctly placed geotagger. It's a simple yet brilliant solution to the vexing problem of having too many gadgets and only one hot shoe! The bracket is sturdy and well-constructed. It sits firmly in my Nikon hot shoe and holds my gadgets securely. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to others.

Can't comment on some of the complaints about not being able to use a TTL device in both hot shoes simultaneously, but I have been using it to hold my TTL flash trigger (YN622-TX) in one shoe and my VideoMic Go in the other shoe. This allows me to switch between flash stills and video quickly without having to swap out the flash trigger for the microphone. In this case, the TTL trigger functions perfectly fine with full TTL capabilites.

I've only used this once so far but it did the job I needed it too!! My censors stopped working on my lights so the slave mode wasn't working. I needed this to put two hot shoes on my camera so I could plug in both my sync cords at the same time. Inexpensive fix. Didn't see any problems others reported and for the price I actually thought the quality was really good.

Great item when you want to have a flash pointing forward and one up to the ceiling to add a behind the subject lighting. I am a professional and this is just what I needed to achieve a better than normal photo. Works great for events! Highly recommend. You will stand out from the rest of the want to be pros.

Pretty great solution. I needed to keep my on-camera hot shoe flash ON the camera when I ordered a remote slave sender outfit, so a flash in another room/area would go off. However, NONE of the remote trigger transmitters that fit in your hot shoe have a hot shoe on top of the transitter (WHY on Earth not?! - Oh well - Go Figure). Anyway, this bracket SOLVES that problem. And by the way, leaves enough room to press your shutter button. This may be the only company that offers this - don't know.
