The meter measures amperes, voltage, and ohms. It does not require the user to select the measurement range, just go to volts, it will determine AC/DC, ampere, and give readings, ohms and digital readings and sound to indicate continuity. When there is no continuity and OL digital reading, there is no audible sound. It also has a fork that can accept ampere measurements on 12 or 10 wires. It has slots on the back for fixing the probe, one of the slots allows the probe to extend from the fixed slot of the meter, so you can fix the meter with one hand and fix the probe to the ground with the other hand, thus improving you View of the digital screen. It is very light and fits your hand well. I like the smart aspect of the meter, the name, accuracy, durability, and functionality you can trust. For a great product, this is a good value.

This electric meter did everything I needed. There is no box, but I put it in the pocket of the bag so that there is no need for a box and it will only take up more space. For anyone reporting that the ampere fork is not working: make sure to measure only one wire. If you put both hot (black) and neutral (white) on the fork, they will cancel each other out and the reading will be zero.

This is my second one. The way to find the one you lost is to order another one. I found my old one on this day. I have good luck with these meters. I have a farm, some rental houses, many vehicles and boats, etc. I use it in all my work and it is reliable in harsh humid conditions. I lost my original one outside for the first time, and it fell in the rain for about a month. I finally returned to my steps and found it by a ditch buried in the mud in winter. It rained a lot, and it has been functioning well for the past 5 years after that incident. Hope this new one is as good quality.

It is a simple multimeter. When it comes to electrical work, it has the most important function. It tests AC/DC voltage, continuity and AC current (no DC current). I have worked as an electrician in residential, commercial and industrial environments, and 98% of the time I use these three functions to solve problems. I rarely need more features, but if I need it, I have another multimeter, which has all the bells and whistles. Advantages: thin/compact and simple/easy to use rugged/dust-proof and waterproof probe is stored on the back of the meter to test automatic power-off continuity buzzer automatic AC/DC voltage detection Disadvantages: no backlight/in my opinion, if additional Fluke is needed The accessories will be perfect if you need expensive test leads. For me, the advantages of this meter far outweigh the disadvantages. There is always such a simple meter in my bag. I would recommend it.

I have used this type of electric meter for 18 years, and I bought this for my grandson to ease his need to solve the problem. I think the only reason for the failure of this instrument is to leave it on the roof during heavy rain. Otherwise, this is a tough meter that is automatic ranging and polarity induction DC. Ampere forks are easier to use than clamps. With the lock button, you only need to detect, press the button, then take out the meter and take the reading. When checking continuity, the tone is very strong, nothing more.
