It will accommodate what ever battery is required for the D750 which is EN-EL15 not EL18a.

Sorry. I can't figure out what the issue is here. The tripod mount on the battery grip is exactly the same as on a typical DSLR camera.

I do use it with the Black Rapid Sport and feel very confident it is totally secure. I don't sense any looseness between the strap and grip nor the grip and camera body.

I bought this for the Nikon D750 and it works great. The brand I received was Meike.

Works as advertised. I was definitely afraid that I would get a cheap device for such a low price. NOT SO. This is a solid battery grip. I can't compare it to its Nikon counterpart because I don't own one, but I can say that this unit exceeds my expectations dramatically. The wireless control feature is a very useful bonus that makes me wonder if I will ever get another very expensive Nikon accessory. I am now wondering if perhaps the Meike Flashes may not warrant a hard look. Short version: I love this thing! I have recently noticed a small shortcoming with the Meike DR-750. The AE-L/AF-L button on the grip does NOT follow menu programming. So, if you set the AE-L/AF-L button for AF-ON using menu item f4 the AE-L/AF-L button on the body of the camera will change its behavior accordingly. The one on the Meike grip however, will remain an AE-L/AF-L button unaffected by menu item f4. If you depend on changes to the AE-L/AF-L button behavior being made through the menu then you probably won't like the MK-DR750.

After seeing the price of the Nikon batter grip, I knew that wasn't an option. I've always been hesitant to purchase any accessory that plugs into a service port. Things can go wrong and cause damage. After seeing the reviews, I decided to give this battery pack a shot. All I can say is, it's top notch. It functions flawlessly. The wireless remote is also a big bonus. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but it really does a good job. Seeing the price, I thought this was going to feel flimsy or it wouldn't fit well. This feels like an extension of the camera and it's perfectly sung. I can't recommend this battery grip enough.

I agree with the previous review by joe. This is an excellent buy. Joe already went over the details but I will add this: the paint on this poly carbonate grip matches very close to the d750 body paint. It is ever so slightly shinier but then most people won't even notice it until pointed out. Same with the rubber on the grip. It's clean and my d750 has oils on it so the rubber on the grip is more matt. I think in time with handeling it will look the same as on the camera. Again no one else will even notice. The grip is not of metal like the original nikon grip but it's sturdy and I have no problem with it giving into to my d750 and heavy 70-200mm vr2. Weighing in at 5 pounds exactly without grip. The grip weighs 7.5 ounces and I can't even notice the weight gain when it's on, but it makes the setup so much more pleasant and easy to handle than without it. And wow it comes with remote control with timer functions?? I had a d750 with original grip from nikon. It remember it to be much heavier and the nikon 750 grip will cost you about 3$300 more and without remote. No Brainer. And all you hard core nikon people will say " yeah but if you drop it it might break because it's not metal". Well I don't give a crap... I will just buy a new one for 80 bucks haha...

This is a great bargain. Having the wireless controller is a bonus. I don't use the grip every day but when I do so, it is when I am using my heavy lenses. It is fantastic especially considering the value for a product that doesn't need professional or day-to-day use. Not as robust as the Nikon version, but it suits my needs as an amateur.

Set this up on my D750 and it worked flawlessly. Shot several basketball games with it with power to spare. Gives me maximum fps on my Nikon. Haven't set up the wireless remote but will add my findings later. One note- this unit ships directly from China, so it takes a couple of weeks, but well worth it.

I am so glad I purchased this and not any other or Nikon. The feel of the grip is great, buttons/dials are solid, transition from grip battery to camera was flawless (didnt even know it). It fit the camera very well and am so far very happy with it. I would highly recommend it.

Works great. The fit and feel is really nice, the buttons feel good. I am very happy with it. I did a test to see if there are any battery drain issues and I have none. I put a freshly charged battery in the camera and the battery grip, turned both off, checked the next day and they are still at 97% (I have the camera set to use the battery in the grip first).

This is the first non-Nikon grip I have ever owned. Having used Nikon grips for F100, D100, D90s, and D7000, I decided to purchase this based on all the reviews. For spending $80 this is an incredibly valuable piece of equipment. Everything works as advertised and it fits nice and snug on my D750. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering the $350+ Nikon grip.

The remote control alone is worth the price of admission. I got tired of waiting for the overpriced Nikon version to be in stock and decided to give this one a try. It is made out of light weight plastic but so are most of the bodies of the M16 machine guns protecting our troops. This grip works perfectly without battery drain and has shut down my fears of 3rd party grips. The remote alone is worth the $80 price. I can finally stand behind my camera and press a button to capture light WHoHOOO. There are a lot of functions on the remote that I could not understand with the translation in the manual. However the push a button the same size as my shutter button and capture light function was not one of them. If you beat up your camera and slap it hard in the wild world this would not be the grip for you. I can barely tell the extra weight on my D750. The time is gone the song is over i thought I'd have something more to say.

The fit and finish feel great! Attaching this grip to the camera everything fits as it should. When comparing the texture of the battery grip to the rest of the camera there is a difference, but not enough to quickly catch anyone's attention if they were just looking at the camera. It feels "plasticky" compared to the body, but still manages to still feel solid. The remote for this is pretty straight forward and easy. Just change the channel to “00” and it then becomes usable to remote activate the shutter for you to take pictures with. This remote is a steal! I’m shocked that they include this for what you are paying for the battery grip. With that said the plastic that the remote is made of isn’t the most durable. You do get what you pay for so be sure to be careful not to drop it. I drop my remote on my kitchen floor and the tab on the battery cover broke so now it will not securely stayed closed. The remote works like a champ though. I think it's great that they include both the module for AA batteries and a module for the lithium ion battery. That is a great convenience. This battery grip is such a great value. It could be made with better materials, but that would drive the cost of this great accessory up. This is the perfect accessory for the photographer that is on a budget or the beginning photographer that is looking to save money without sacrificing so much of the reliability. I give this 5 stars because of the amazing value. So much functionality and nice quality for the price.

Awesome , It works great saved a ton of money, I purchased the Nikon grip for my D80 years ago and again for my D7000, This time I wanted to try an off brand grip to save some money and I can say that for me it works fine. I haven't used the remote yet but that is an added bonus. *** Side note it does drain the battery down when not in use so keep this in mind. You can also use it without the battery installed in the grip a pleasant surprise.
