Will work just fine, can run sbus. I believe that fc can run sbus and if not the x8r can still do it. You don't need an X8R for that though; unless your just wanting strongest possible signal. Xm+ and x4r are smaller and without knowing more about your application I can't say for sure but may be better for you. I love… see more Will work just fine, can run sbus. Xm+ and x4r are smaller and without knowing more about your application I can't say for sure but may be better for you. I love the x8r for my hex and quad with gimbal and foldable legs. It's a great receiver and I highly recommend it but it's a bit overkill for a stock x220s. Great radio choice, you can't go wrong there. Should all work fine. They sell a BNF (bind and fly) wizard with frsky receiver already installed too (I think) I'm rambling so ill stop, hope that helps. see less

You have to put a jumper from 1&2 and jump 3&4 when binding, then channels 9 and above are PWM

Yes, as far as we've tested here in the shop, signal strength is actually a little bit better. You can test RSSI signal to confirm. Thanks

It's a good receiver, the telemetry port is handy if you have a battery voltage monitor to send telemetry information to your radio. The one thing I don't like is the wire connection at the antenna ends is easily breakable. After moving the receiver between a couple different planes the wires are starting to break away from the antenna panels, so I have to treat them with kid gloves. Just be careful not to put much stress on that location, or perhaps add a drop of hot glue there to take some of the strain off.

I am very impressed with the quality and functions. Binding is a snap. I have my voltage sensor and GPS module plugged in. And it transmits a great signal. You can do lots of things on Quad copters. If you fly FPV This will work a mile and a half away, I was told from a pilot today.. He flys a 90 mph racing quad! Now that's some Impressive preformance to me. I would give this a rating of 10 but they only allow 5. Happy Flying ! 🛩
