I'm assuming your using Skype but other apps should be similar, step one is to be absolutely positive that the audio cable is connected and in a headphone or microphone input, basically, plugged in. Next go into your Skype or whatever app your using and in the settings there is an option labeled I believe call options, once you open that there are many options, look for the one that says default audio device. The default audio device you need to select I don't know the name of bit try them all until you find it. see less
