What I like: The Andoer OBO tripod in it folded length is slightly less than 14 inches sitting in between the Mefoto branded Backpacker and Roadtrip tripod. This should fit in my carryon luggage easily or in my day backpack. Overall the OBO’s feel very solid for such a diminutive tripod. The included removable aluminum alloy quick release ball head is of good quality capable of supporting my Canon 1D mkii N (55 oz.), 24-70 2.8L (33 oz.) and a flash (15 oz.). I would not recommend extending the second center post in this type of heavy setup. Add camera bags to the spring loaded hook on the bottom of center post on windy day. Other travel tripods of this nature such as the Dolica TX570 have trouble supporting load this heavy.

It is a really good, solid build constructed from sturdy aluminium and is perfectly engineered to work smoothly. - I detachable leg that doubles as monopod - universal screw, so you can replace the head - The legs are light aluminium, easy to extend and lock into place, each leg can be adjusted individually, the good rubbery feet allowing for placement also on uneven ground and at different angles too. The legs can be kept in the upright position, or can also be moved upwards for an even lower and steadier camera position. - The ball head flows smoothly making it ideal for video pans in any direction – up/down/sideways/diagonally and although there isn't a panning handle the strong and substantial alloy quick-release screw doubles-up as a compact handle for controlling pans and even includes a circular spirit level.
