your tripod needs to have the option of removing the head... if it does its just a matter of screwing this one replacing the other... very straight forward.

You get what you pay for. The included plate is painted rather than anodized, and overall gives a flimsy and cheap impression. OK for the price. The rubber on the knobs will expand over time and slip, but a stronger grip or more glue will fix that. Im still using this fella on my second tripod - 3 years down the track.

It will work with any tripod with matching screw thread. This is an excellent Ball head.

Very useful patella, you can see the quality of the finishes as soon as you have it in your hand, it is "heavy", at the limit of, when you have it in your hand, think of, "how well it is built" rather than "god, I'm going to put a brick on top of my tripod! " Recommended, be attentive because the price goes down and goes up a lot, it is easy to get it cheap. As for the operation, for those who do not know what it is, it is fundamentally an extra articulation that you attach to your tripod, giving the camera the possibility of placing it in practically any position for photography, and being able to create a smooth panorama for video ( although it is not thought in my opinion for it, it can be done and the movement is very smooth). Really surprising the quality of the patella, I bought it after reading the amount of good opinions about it, a very good patella. There is no other market with that value for money a robust construction on soft functional handling days and I am really happy with it. Of course if I had to buy another one I would repeat.

I have several labels of different brands, including brands that define themselves as "de gamna alta" or "professionals" and it has nothing to envy. It is robust, precise and smooth moving. When the block is perfectly rigid and even with heavy cameras, it does not move at all.

I recently acquired a new tripod to renew the basic and cheap tripod I had before and it was falling short with my Nikon D7100 and the Samyang 14mm 2.8. Unfortunately, the offer I bought did not have a kneecap, so after searching and reading opinions I decided on it. The truth is that I can not be happier, withstand excessively the weight, allows to frame smoothly and the panoramic movement is a joy that I did not even imagine, because my tripod of axes was going to "pull". In addition, I have not needed any adapter because it has a 3/8 "thread. Very happy with the purchase and more considering the price of the product compared to similar ones for this expensive hobby. The only negative that could be attributed to it would be the weight, but it doesn't seem excessive to me and it shows that the materials are good.
