Don't know about the IC stamp but the lights are designed to be installed into a drilled hole in wood decking. springs on the side of the light cylinder provide friction to prevent lights from backing out. Push in easily to drilled hole.

These lights do not have any dusk-to-dawn or timer built in. You will need to use an external device to do that.

I was able to put lights 3 feet apart after putting the lights into a 1inch hole in a 2x6 redwood and running the wire along the underside of that 2x6lumber. So, both of the wires are just over 18 inches long on each light. On the power supply the wire is roughly 8 feet.

They can be. We used 12 of the 16 for that reason. If a few go out, we can use those others as replacements. They are great lights! Exactly what we wanted.

It needs a 12v power source... Either using the included transformer or some other sufficient output supply.

The lights are quite bright but as for the exact lumens, I have no idea and would rely on manufacturers spec.

The Tomshine has a transformer with a short length of wire and a 2 prong plug at end that could then be plugged into the "screw- in" adapter. Or you could place an extension cord to provide the distance required if the transformer was farther away form where actual Tomshine installation is to be installed. Hope this makes sense..... Good luck see less
