Got it for my 5 year old boy. He is now 6 and still loves it. It is not fast so perfect for young children. Battery only lasts around 15 minutes. At first I did not like the battery life but now I got used to it and it means the kids can play with different toys while it charges. Otherwise he would be all day on it...

GoolRC Rock Crawler RC Car arrived well packaged and in a very timely manner. Product was exactly as described. On unpacking this RC buggy I found the build quality ok but far from great, however at the price point it is hard to expect more but makes me wonder long they will last. It was also nice to find it came equipped with soft rubber tires which I did not expect. The controller on the other hand feels very cheap and the movement of the steering wheel feels very flimsy. Attaching the steering wheel was easy and everything works ok. The rechargeable battery is contained in a compartment at the bottom of the buggy which is held closed by a screw. I was surprised how tiny the battery was measuring only 45mm x 15 x 5 but it holds a charge sufficient for about 30min of use which is good as these buggies are quite big at 250mm long and are quite powerful. The controller takes two AA batteries in the handle which are easy to install. In use the controller allows the user to control the buggies speed from a slow crawl to reasonable top speed but the steering is all or nothing and even then it is inconsistent in how it works, sometimes a lot sometimes nothing. Despite all my little moans these things are amazing fun for the little ones and the big rubber tires mean they can perform stunts, repeated backflips and cross ruff terrain like my lawn easily. The attached photo shows the size of the buggy next to a Sky controller. I would have given this buggy 5 stars if not for the concern I have over their durability.

Awesome little rock climber. Fun! Fun! These little guys rock their fun for all ages and their very good for the little ones. Easy to handle and loads of fun. What is even better is the low super low price they have them on this site. Their pretty cool. I definitely would recommend them they make a great gift and for a great price. Go ahead get one.

I ordered 3 of these and they were delivered as promised, maybe a little sooner. They packaging is sturdy. Nice carry handle on the top. The crawler was packed very well with 4 zip ties and some packaging tape holding the bubble wrap containing the remote from both sides. It was going anywhere, nor would it roll around during shipping. Two of my three remotes would not spring back. Meh, not too bad of a problem. They function, just not as they should. You will need a number 1 Phillips head screwdriver to open the remote door and install the required 2 AA batteries. You will need this again and every time you charge the battery on the crawler with the included USB charger. Not sure how long it took to charge but less than 2 hours and it seemed to last about 20 minutes or so. I was thrilled to see the crawler has speed control as it helps greatly in its ability. The steering is all or nothing and engages with a click once the knob is tuned far enough. As I said two remotes were faulty and they would not center themselves. A little practice and it wasn't an issue for me, it may hinder a child's fun. I rate it a 8 on the fun scale and it would have been a 10 if not for the transmitters. The price is right for this Little Crawler that Could. Available in three colors. We chose blue because it was on sale. I feel it worth noting that the battery compartment is huge and will accommodate a larger battery, and the axles are locked for maximum traction on those 1/18 scale rocks! 3 link suspension and spring shocks. With a real servo and a solid controller this would impress some folks in the rock crawler field.

Our 6 year old loves this. The car arrived in a good quality carry box with English instructions, controller and USB charger for the car internal battery. There are 2 colour options and we went for the red. The detailed design matched the listing picture. The overall dimensions of the car are 26cm x 15cm x 12cm. There is an internal battery included that with a 2 hour charge lasts 20-30 minutes. To charge up you do need to remove the battery and connect it via a USB socket. On the first charge a small x screwdriver is needed to open the base. Care is needed with the small connector. The maximum control distance is around 10-15m. The big chunky wheels have a good grip and work well for climbing and off road. The whole car is of decent construction. The controller is lightweight. It requires 2AA batteries, which are not included. I am using rechargeable ones to keep the cost down. It would be good if these could be charged with the main battery. Also a small screwdriver will be needed on each change. The steering takes a little practice but works well. The power is good and the car climbs over obstacles. Overall this is a fun car and will make a good gift for any boy in you life from 6 years upwards.

pleased overall with the car, however one niggle is the steering only goes to the right !! to go left you have to reverse and then go forward :( apart from that the packaging was fine and the car is sturdy enough. to charge the battery in the car you need to take it out and play it into the charger, so this could become a bit of a pain doing this all the time !!

Bought for my cousin. Great size for him to play with (he's 10) and cheered him up greatly when I showed it to him. He now has it driving round the garden with no trouble. Easy to charge up but would have liked to see a screwdriver included in the pack to remove the battery cover as not every 10 year old has one lying around haha After installing the batteries for him, he's been in love with it! No problems or complaints Makes a great present!
