I just bought this for my son for Christmas. He ran it through a puddle and it stopped a few seconds later. Let it dry out and it seems fine now. Let it dry out and it seems fine now. I hate the charger and all the cotter pins you have to undo just to charge it. The charger is a USB and plugs into a phone wall charger. If I had known everything I know now I would not have bought this unit. see less

If I could I would give it 3.5 stars but I can't... Even though the wheels are good sturdy, made of rubber and the car runs very fast, I would say that the cheap paper thin plastic cover of the car makes it a very cheap and uncomfortable to charge. You have to unpin he 4 pins on the top of the car, 2 at the back and 2 at the front, charge it with a USB only (short cable) and put the cover back on. That takes about 5 minutes to get it off or on. The remote works on Radio freq, therefore it makes a weird sound every time you move the remote buttons. The remote button for the steering right or left is not that strongs and not that fast and it doesn't move that much so you can't get the car to move in circle. Overall, it's a cool toy for kids, if you are looking for not expensive medium quality radio remote car - it will fit you needs. I think that in this price you can get something better...
