Not that I'm aware of. Even if there was, it could not be used as a webcam as the camera arm can not swing up 180 degrees.

I cannot figure out how any of it works. The software as well as the instructions are extremely confusing. I would not recommend this product.

No. It just takes pictures as the way you put them. It can adjust a bit for the light, though.

zoom is there, i am using windows, but i think mac is also supported, not sure though, i would not recommend this product, if you want you can take mine.

I have had to replace my gawky hp scanner with this portable handy icodis X3 scanner with only one cable setup directly with a windows laptop Scanned picture result is very clear. Moreover, the scanned files can be saved in many format like pdf, Microsoft word, excel, etc through campshop software provided with by company in CD. highly recommended product

Wife is really enjoying this scanner as she digitizes the piles of paperwork in her home office. Scrapbooks, photos, recipes, etc. Problem was getting it set up. The scanner came with a CD that supposedly contained the latest driver and software. When loaded, the scanner did not work. Solution was to go the original manufacturer's website and download the software from China. Soon as I loaded the new version, everything worked perfectly. I will give the seller credit, when I notified them of what happened, they said they would provide the link on their Facebook page and then gave me a rebate on the price. This really is a 5 star product!

I will be using this daily in my classroom. For the price, it exceeds all my expectations. I am coming from a camera that cost over $600 ten years ago, and at less than $200 I am shocked at the quality. I highly recommend this to any teacher out there looking to have their own document camera that they can take with them. I am impressed!

This is really such a cool product. l am not sure what the other reviewer is talking about--I got mine to work very easily. Software was a bit slow to install but that's OK. I had it working on my Windows 10 PC in about 20 minutes. It's really cool because the scanning application has a TON of features. You can do all kinds of different scans, and certain scans will do OCR--and I found it to be quite accurate, even on the newsprint that tried on, which can be rather difficult! See the pictures for a side by side of the actual image and what the scanner grabbed as the text. It also can be used as just a live view for presentations, like a document camera, a useful feature. Coolest thing that I didn't get to try was the ability to Scan barcodes on the page and save the scan as whatever is encoded on the barcode. This is only a feature of much, much more expensive products--I was very impressed with this feature. My only complaints are just the gigantic size oft the scanner but I suppose could find a smaller black mat to use--it doesn't seem like you have to use the one given. I'd have liked a longer USB cord too but I suppose I can just buy an extension. Overall I am VERY IMPRESSED with this! Especially for the price! I really recommend it.

I am a teacher and historian. I wanted a scanner that I could use as a camera to teach online as well as take to the library with me and use to scan documents. This one was in my price range so I thought I'd give it a try. First of all, don't bother with the software CD, it is just as easy to download from the website. Second, the scans are ridiculously clear and even. I scanned from a book and wasn't really expecting the image to "flatten" but it did! From there I could even clip parts of the document to save. I have no regrets and look forward to using this scanner for a long time!

I am a Traditional Chinese teacher in the lower grades of elementary school. Sometimes I need some Chinese extracurricular reading materials to assist in teaching. This scanner helps me scan storybooks at home and save them to my laptop so that they can be projected into the classroom for students to watch and learn. My experience so far is that it's really easy to operate. Just open the book and start scanning. The scanning speed is fast, and the brightness can be adjusted so that it does not reflect light, which does save me a lot time for preparing lessons.

I use this as a desktop doc camera to share images of printed materials in Zoom. For that purpose it is decidedly mixed. The camera itself is okay, though the built-in lighting isn't strong enough to avoid shadows on the book I'm showing (I sometimes need to supplement with a desk lamp). I have not found the included software to be very intuitive or customizable for my purposes. It seems mostly designed for using the camera as a scanner to copy books or documents. It might be fine for that, but that is not my purpose. Zoom does allow the doc cam to function just like a normal web-camera, but without any zoom (in-out) controls on the camera, that is problematic, so it is easier to use the included software and "share" the window.

I use the camera to archive documents. I had previously used the smartphone, because I was a flatbed scanner too slow. Will be recognized directly after connecting as a USB camera. I did the first scans with the Windows camera software. However, the pictures had to be reworked due to the small built-in light. The provided software (on USB stick) does this automatically and delivers useful scans in the standard settings. No comparison to a flatbed scanner, but good enough for archiving in bookkeeping (sharp, very readable, a few spots of brightening the software). Overall, a huge time savings: lie down documents, click on Capture, done, next document.

The scanner is very portable and easy to install. Use it to make a big difference at work or on the road. I was impressed with its fast scanning speed. It extracts text with high precision, I use documents, handwritten notes and books for testing, it extracts text with high precision, and the auto-scan feature makes work easier. All features are clear and you need them when many advanced features are available.
