    I decided to try this fan because I’m not a fan of bug sprays. I liked the idea of something simple keeping the bugs away. The fan is whisper quiet and you don’t have to worry about the spinning blades. They are made of soft plastic and will not hurt your hands if you happen to get too close. I actually stuck my hand into the spinning blades to test their claim! My wife suggested using it indoors also to keep fruit flies at bay.

    We love sitting on the back porch, however living in Florida we have FLIES - this is great, we have 2, put one near each of us when eating - No worries ...No flies!

    We're using these fans now for a couple of weeks and it actually keeps the flies of our food. We place them between the plates/bowls on the table and it's actually working. You have to watch out for the turning blades but they are not sharp at all, so if you touch them no harm is done. It's perfect.

    Very effective at keeping the flies at bay. No, its not perfect and once in a while a brave fly will be undeterred, but it makes a huge difference. The vast majority of the time all the flies stay away. Loved it so much I ordered another set!
