As I have 3 children this is sooo handy.. I had to pul out the bit of plastic to connect the battery but after that it switched on... I can change it from forehead to ear depending on the age.. Switching it to the different modes is so easy.. Just the press of a button.. Press the button and it takes seconds for the temperature to show.. To turn it off you long hold the power button until it says off. I can also connect it to my phone so I can track the temperature and when the doctor asks I can show them. I am pleased I have this .

In the thermometer we already find a Sony battery, in some devices we do not find so I really enjoyed this detail, usable from the moment you can download the Smart Health app from app store, in my case as I use an android phone. You can monitor the temperature from the app as it stays in memory, the previous temperatures. Very easy to use and small I can carry it around. Recommended.

Having just taken a similar thermometer and having found myself well, I wanted to take another to give to friends who have just had a son. The strong point of this thermometer is certainly the aesthetics and the fact that it is connected via bluetooth to a special free app that automatically registers all the measurements made. The use is simple, there is a button to switch between front and ear modes and a button that is pressed while performing the measurement. Temperature detection is fast, talking about a couple of seconds. The Koogeek application, which integrates with other appliances of the same brand, is easy to see and convenient to use to track past illnesses. Having taken it primarily as a gift I did not have the chance to actually test it on a sick person, but I still wanted to try out all the features to make sure that something useful and functional was given.

With the Koogeek Smart Thermometer, you have a temperature record that can be stored in a phone application with just one click and in one second. The first thing I wanted to do was download the application Koogeek in the Apple App Store, onto my iPhone 7 Plus. This application is very user-friendly and I was able to easily set up the new device so my temps taken will be synced to it. The device itself is also very user-friendly and a quick look at the instructions was all it took to be able to use all of the functions. The device comes with a battery pre-installed so if you hold the power button it will come right on. This button also controls viewing celsius or Fahrenheit temperature. The thermometer has a very nice cap on it for when it’s not in use. There are only two main buttons, a display, and two indicator lights for use on the forehead or in-ear use. There are instructions included that explain how to properly take a temperature. I have tried this out multiple times on both mine and my son’s ear and we had no signs of a fever and both our temps were in normal range and turning off the device and coming back to it later the temps barely changed. That’s a good indicator of its accuracy because it’s reading the temp levels that we should be. Also, it was within .2 of another thermometer that I own. The Koogeek thermometer itself has the ability to store the last thirty temperatures taken and by switching the function to memory I was able to read them on the device. That in itself is a great perk if you don’t have the phone on you but you just have the thermometer you can still get a record of past temperature taken. Overall I’m most impressed by the speed and accuracy of this product. This would be a great product to have if you’re a parent. This just makes it a lot easier and my sons more compliant waiting one second for me to get it as opposed to taking a minute.

I would recommend it. It has a very low cost for what it offers and above all I'm interested in the entire koogeek health platform that matches perfectly with the iPhone's Health app. Still recommended!

I purchased this for my infant niece and it works perfectly. Quick and easy. No more fussing and waiting 1+ minutes. Comes with a protective cover to protect the tip. I would buy again for friends

It comes with a cell battery already in place. The device is very light and is easy to carry around. Using the app I was able to see a lot of information like the last few measured temperatures, this is handy as it allowed for me to compare with past results. The tracker itself feels well made, robust, it has smooth curved edges and is small in size. In a way, it resembles an electric toothbrush in terms of design, only smaller. The hole at the bottom of the thermometer allows you to potentially run a string through it to hang it up in your bathroom. There is also a protective cap making the whole package ideal for office or travel. Koogeek says the thermometer is dust proof, drop proof and dirt proof. The thermometer will produce an alarm sound if a measurement is lower than 93.2°F / 34°C or higher than 107.9°F / 42.2°C. I have tried this out a few dozen times in the past couple of days, and am happy to report my temperature was in the normal range every single time. Turning off the device and coming back to it later the temperature barely changed. Measurement data can be saved by the thermometer itself, or transferred to the Koogeek app through Bluetooth. Because the thermometer saves the last thirty readings, you don’t need to have your phone with you to access a record of past measurements taken. All in all, this is exciting new technology that is very easy to use with or without the app.

This particular thermometer doesn't disappoint. You can take temperatures in two ways: ear temperature mode and forehead temperature mode. I did find a small discrepancy in readings between the two methods: the ear reader method seems to be more accurate in its results than by using the forehead method to take temperatures. With the Koogeek app, there is a memory function that lets you track previous temperatures taken with this thermometer but I've not tested that as I've no need for it. Overall, I am quite pleased with this thermometer .

One of the best features is that it registers the temperate without making skin contact on the forehead or inserting it into the ear. The alarm signals a reading almost immediately. The temperature probe is protected by a clear cap and a sturdy cardboard box for storing.
