Is the strap leather or fabric? The main picture shows a same color leather straps but customer photos are showing a black fabric strap!

Do you have to remove the case to charge the camera?

  • I don't remove battery and charge through plug. If you take battery out yes you will need to remove buttom

      Great price and quality, however, the advertised photos do not include the embossed "a" logo on the front of the actual item. Given the price and quality, I don't mind it so much but would have liked an actual photo of the item having been advertised.

      I have nothing bad to say about it. It fits my Sony alpha a5100 perfectly with the standard lense. I just realized it actually screws into the bottom of the camera and can screw into my tripod with the case attached. It provides decent protection as far as tossing it into my purse and it's easy to snap on/off for quick shooting. I'm not a pro photographer by any means, but I have studied fabrics in fashion design, and the material isn't cheap by any means. Stitching is great, fit is flawless. I only wish it had a cold shoe mount (top mount for mic/light) since the camera itself doesn't, but idk if that's even possible with this model. If anyone knows of any cases that do, please lmk :)

      I'm in love with it!! It fits perfectly on my Sony alpha 5100, looks exactly as seller pictures, it's good quality and so smooth inside; The only thing is that its a little bit hard to open but it makes it secure. Thank you!!!

      Great deal, fits the camera perfectly. Pleather that feels like the real thing. The one I received has the "alpha" letter symbol embossed on the front. Super happy with this, strongly recommended.

      awesome case! Looks nice and feels secure. Cant believe the price for the quality I received. Also love that the strap is long enough to wear around neck or over the shoulder as opposed to just the wrist straps that come with some of the other similar cases. Will definitely look into getting other colors.

      I ordered this for my Sony A5000. The case was designed to fit the camera with the 16-50 factory lens, it does this just fine and seems to be constructed very well. I am glad I purchased this for this my camera, seems as if it was a very wise decision to try it out instead of purchasing those that are priced for $49-$100.
