Yes recharges as long as usb charger charger is plugged into usb input..I use it with a MacBook Pro July 2017 model. Have not tried it with a Pixel book but conceptually should work..

Fantastic USB Type C Hub, great for extending the connectivity of our computer. It has 3 USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port to expand the computer screen to a TV, Network port for RJ-45 and finally also offers us charging port for USBC devices. It works perfect and I use it on the laptop and on the big computer. It is small and transportable which makes it indispensable when I go on a trip to have 4 different connections in a single device. Cool !! and 100% recommended.

Good product. I use this on my MacBook (12 inches). I mainly use HDMI and I have used the Ethernet and USB ports several times. I have not had any problems, I just connect it and it works. The power step also works without problems. It is a nice and compact size given the number of ports.

Elegant and great to show off at your desk! I'm glad to finally get rid of my old big center. This small device is loaded with functions! The dimensions are only approximately 2.5 "x 3.5". The quality is great. It comes with a large number of entries; three USB, one HDMI, one Ethernet and one C input The power input is through type C. The size is perfect for a laptop or other mobile device! It was a great nuisance to crawl through my old center. This fits perfectly in my bag outside the bag of my mobile device. It connects in about a minute. I love this Hub ......

I do not know if my new laptop does not have a USB connection. This usb-c hub is the best of all! This means that it works for macbooks, but I can also use it on my computer. It can also be connected to an Ethernet cable. I like the compactness of it, but there are many things that can be connected to it.

Incredible addition to our Chromebook! Our Chromebook only has 2 charging ports. It has no Ethernet, HDMI or USB ports at all, so this tool is perfect for that! The HDMI shows the computer screen on the TV right after plugging it into the hub. It seems to work well! It also has a place for an ethernet cable. Excellent tool for Chromebooks and any laptop that does not have USB ports.

This USB hub with several additional features works very well. The USB ports are conveniently located, and the Ethernet port and HDMI port are useful add-ons. It is a great all-in-one device, very compact. I am using it with a MacBook and it powers the laptop in the step and allows me to have additional USB ports and an Ethernet port while I only use one plug. I'm very happy with that.

This little hub is a must have for business professionals, or anyone who needs a few extra ports on their laptop/tablet. The first key thing to note is that your device will need a female USB-C port in order to support this hub. Now that you have that verified, let five right in. On the front of the hub are 3 high-speed USB 3.0 ports for data transfers, and device charging. Also, on the front of the hub, you will find a HDMI port, which is great for hooking up a second display to your device. This will work with monitors, TVs, and even projectors, while supporting 4K displays. On the left side of the hub, you'll find a gigabit ethernet port, which comes in handy while traveling and staying in hotels with spotty and slow wi-fi. The last thing to note about this hub is found on the back of the device. Located to the right of the cable that plugs into your laptop, you'll find a female USB-C port. This is a great all around hub. It converts USB-C to USB (3.0) Best of all, it gives you an ethernet port on your MAC! Video outputs work like a charm (both HDMI and VGA) and the Ethernet connection is very reliable. Surprisingly robust and sturdy - I have a number of other adapters and none of them have the range of ports or stability of operation I have found with this product. Give it a shot!

Much better than I even expected it to be! I'm a visual person, so right off the bat I like the light that tells me it's on the job & working. The transfer speed is pretty good too! It's so cool that I can now easily connect my laptop, phone, mouse, etc plus I really like being able to connect my monitor with the HDMI port. Best of all, the price is super!!

I needed this to help support my MacBook and offic work. This little tool has replaced one hub and two other connectors. Now all I carry is that hub and it works :) I like this little gadget. There is a port for ether net, three USB and HDMI. The case is clean looking with a solid frame.

It does what two other ports did and looks better while doing it. Connects various drives with no problem and transfers are quick. Charges a Nexus 6p with no problem on top of that. The small form factor and color make it almost disappear on my desk, something other companies should take notice of...not everything needs to stand out. The ethernet port has saved time and knees by avoiding crawling under desk to add or test something. It's something I never knew would be so useful.

what a great gadget this seller has developed. I'm able to connect multiple items without messy cables all over the place. every detail in designing has been thought of here. connections are all solid and they stay plugged in. conversions in hub itself are static free and clean signal.

This USB works perfectly with my MacBook Pro. I am able to connect my phone which has another charger that wouldn't fit into my laptop for me to upload pictures and connect my phone to iTunes on my laptop. I love my laptop, but it was frustrating that the ports were not USB ports. With this adapter I am able to connect more devices and utilize my computer and accessories much better. I like that there is a green power light so I know that its on and working well. The transfer speed is also quick and comparable and works great! So far I would highly recommend this product to anyone!
