Since this is listed as an alto trombone mouthpiece, I would assume this is the smaller traditional shank size, as used on alto and traditional tenor trombones, but not the larger symphonic sized horns. Trombones with F-attachments are usually (although not always) a large-bore instrument. Though technically these horns are not as big as a true bass trombone, they do require the same large shank mouthpiece. see less

First bought this for my daughter back in 2018. She just asked me to buy her another one. When I asked her if she wanted me to get something else, she asked me to get the same one. I suppose that is a testimony to this product. My daughter is an avid and award-winning trombonist who uses her trombone a lot. Good value.

My brother is a great New Orleanian/ LSU Trumpeter with an extensive mouthpiece collection. I got a Selmer Trombone for $25 no mouthpiece. He recommended this as an affordable Bach copy. Put it in and started playing horn for the first time ever, sounded great. Ready to Second Line
