I just used it last night for the first time. OMG, it was awesome! I have been in physical therapy for a slipped and bulging disc and literally started getting marks on my knees from using my old mat to do the exercises I was assigned to do twice a day. I used it again this morning and the difference is amazing. Executing the exercises seems easier as a result. Great product. I highly recommend it.

I finally caved and bought a "real" yoga mat after moving into a house with hardwood floors (was previously on carpet so I just went with the flow). I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for something I was going to be abusing for yoga and workouts... and from my search I saw some mats for quite a high price. I'm glad I went with this one because not only is the extra thickness good on my hands (and knees, feet, back, etc) but after about a month of abuse it's still holding strong. I did experience a strange smell from the mat when I first received it - however, after letting it air out a bit the smell went away.
