  • No its all plastic except the metal not. This isn't a bad thing all go pro mounts are plastic

      I used it on my 3-way so I could hold it and have my body more on the side of the video instead if in the middle. Never had a problem while using it like that but I did have it break IN my snowboard jacket pocket. The GoPro was dead so I had it in my pocket which sit close to my waist. When I compressed after landing a big jump it got tweaked between my stomach and legs and broke in the jacket. If anything were to break I would want it to be a piece that only costs a few bucks so I can't complain too much. Under normal conditions I think it will hold fine but I do wish it was a bit stronger just for peace of mind. Just remember to unscrew one part of it so if you pocket it for a while so there is less of a chance of it getting tweaked and breaking.
