I'm using it for a full size Acoustic guitar and it fits nicely, so it does the job, easily stores in my bag and is very light. One negative is the crossbar that locks the stand in place, I think it's a bit thin and I baby the thing a bit when folding and opening, I'd rather not have to think about the possibility of this breaking so I'd say that would be my only complaint/concern.

I have both acoustic and electric bass guitars, and this stand works very well in what is sometimes somewhat limited space in my music area. Easy to move and also to store when not g in used as it folds down almost flat. Price is very reasonable compared to other stands I have bought.

I was considering a Cooper Stand but decided to go with the inexpensive version. My Takamini and Yamaha acoustic guitars both fit nicely and the stand is sturdy and steady. It does not fold up as small as a Cooper Stand but still much easier to carry than other guitar stands. One thing to consider is an acoustic guitar sits close to the ground and if your cable plugs into the strap stud it will hit the floor under the stand. I use a straight plug and it works but puts a tight bend on the cable. A 90 degree cable would clear easily.
