Wonderful product! I was training for a triatholon when a huge snow storm hit and I was forced to use the gym bicycles and I hated them. I loved my bike and wanted to ride it but also didn't want to spend $200+. This is the perfect solution! It rides well and I love the fact that you can change levels. I think the people who complained of the noise have never used a bike trainer. I have used a few different ones in bike shops to get my bike fitted and they all make a noise and the noise is the same no matter which one you use. If you want to ride YOUR bike indoors, stop browsing and buy this one!

Lousy bike resistance trainser abound at every price level. I have used a few, and except for the massively expensive ones, they are mostly junk. This is a surprisingly substantial unit, is easy to assemble (literally 5 minutes) and dial in, and, bert of all, it works quietly and smoothly -- for me, anyway (a healthy, older/middle-aged male with cycling experience, but not a real killer cyclist). I believe the manufacturar markets these under many names, and I can only vouch for mine, but it simply works; for the price, it's a steal.

Years ago I had a bike trainer that was non magnetic. You had to turn a knob by the wheel to increase resistance. Now THAT bike trainer from years ago was noisy. THIS bike trainer is not as noisy, but it will still make noise. I use my old mountain bike on this trainer, which has knobby tires, so it is a bit loud. Again, it is not as noisy as the old bike trainer I had.

I have only used a couple of times, but seems to fit the bill. I was looking for a low cost exercise option for those days when it is just not fun to go outside. I am not a hard core trainer, just a 190 lb. old guy who likes to bike or walk for about an hour a day. I couldn't see investing in a fancy stationary bike that would take up floor space and cost hundreds of dollars and that I wouldn't use every day. This one is good value for money.

So after riding a few times on this and getting a feel for it I gotta say that it works very well for what I intended it for. I can now keep up with my workouts when the weather doesn't want me to. I can even use the app WAHOO with my DuoTrap sensors to see what my speed and cadence is so I'm basically getting as close to an outdoor workout as I can with out having to spend the money on a full stationary bike or heaven forbid a full on Peloton.
