109-0033160-1716204 just won't charge or any sign of movement.... Sorry for the hassle, my kid was bummed.

It will, but it takes some practice in order to maintain control after a flip.

Press on the left joystick, and it should beep continuously while in headless mode.

With my experience, no. Pay a little more money and hopefully you get a better product.

I first started at the house and wanted to see how many electrical service meters it could pass before any interference. I got 2 service meter down before I noticed any difference. These don't come with a horn on the miniature Xbox controller, so I went off of site and assumptions. The next test I went downtown to figure out how many parking meters I could pass. Well out of surprise I got past 22 of them. Mostly because this sexy machine seemed to form a crowd wherever I whipped it out. Hey it is a crowd pleaser! Now with some final thoughts. Unless you live in a mansion, this thing you want to keep close as it's easy to loose sight of it. Like the one time I took it straight up..... well I hit the moon, I seen it on google earth. It was amazing. Needless to say, I ordered a new one. Just a great toy to keep on hand. Just keep it in front of you and flies best in the house. Hope this answered your question. Enjoy! see less

Maybe I'm just new to flying drones, but the first day I had it I broke a blade flying it inside. Changed it and decided to wait until tomorrow and go out side, well broke the another one. Took it back inside changed out the blade with the last extra you get and my son broke it, so its shelved for now. I got a SYMA X12 for my son for Christmas and he seemed to fly that one pretty good in the house a couple of days with out braking any blades. Until I said, "son let me hold that thing I'll show you how to fly it like a pro, let's go out side". After taking off and landing a time or two I wanted to see how high it could go, so that's what I done. We never saw it again.

this is the second one I ordered I stuck with this model because the first one was awesome. this one lasted two flights and then one of the motors failed so it went into a box and out to the garage. The first one took some beating and after countless flights and crashes it to had a motor burn out. awe : ( but wait I have spare parts from this one that failed now I'm flying again the only reason for the three stars is for its spare parts

This is a nice quadcopter it is very fast, the yaw is super fast and is durable. I had a problem with a motor not working but I don't think the problem was with the model but my individual copter. Though now u would buy a inverted copter case the do everything this does but fly upside down. This one is less money than inverted one.

This is probably the best-flying toy-grade quad I've yet seen. The transmitter is slightly larger than that of something like a CX10 so a better fit for adult hands, while the removable battery means the lifetime won't be tied to the service life of the supplied cell. One can readily buy compatible cells from many sources, but always verify the polarity is the same before connecting, and it is generally a good idea to let motors cool for a few minutes after flying a whole battery. Two things that make this really stand out are the built-in prop protector light enough not to reduce flight performance, and decision to make both the airframe and props out of a more flexible plastic that can better absorb impacts (unfortunately, you only get two spare props instead of the traditional four, but they may last enough longer to excuse that). With the prop guard gentle wall impact will usually just bounce off rather than meaning crashes, and the guards are just high enough that you can actually fly it up and stick it to a ceiling. When parked on the ceiling the props end up so close that you can then reduce the throttle quite far before it falls off (beware that when it does come off you will need to throttle back up to keep flying!) An absolute beginner may find that while stable the quad may drift a little bit in a hover requiring correction - in other words, a little skill must be developed so it is not a toy for a young child or one who will become quickly frustrated - but this is far tamer (and infinitely more mistake-survivable) than any RC helicopter of 10 years ago. And for the capable pilot, it can maneuver quite aggressively, especially with the transmitter in high rates. While the transmitter size is nice, the plastic it is made of is quite cheap in appearance. More seriously, it shares a flaw of some other far east electronics in that the design of the plastic molds for the battery compartment were made by someone who assumed your AAA cells will have a slightly taller bump on their positive terminals than some US brands (notable Duracell) actually have. This can mean the transmitter fails to turn off or randomly cuts out. Cheap store-brand AAA's may fit better, but another fix is to take out the batteries and break off a bit of toothpick behind each of the positive contacts to push it closer to the battery. Finally it should be mentioned that while this is sold and intended as a ready to go package (just add transmitter AAA batteries) the hobby RC community on sites like rcgroups has figured out both how to send compatible control signals from more precise hobby-grade transmitters, and how to replace the flight control firmware of the quad itself.

Bought this after shopping for an affordable drone to fly around the house. I have an apartment with high ceilings and this is great to hover around the place. I only wish it had a longer battery life, mine is usually about 5 minutes each. I've been using it for almost a month, it holds up to some rough crashes, sometimes the props get jammed and don't rotate but it has been an easy fix.

this is an awful lot of fun for a mini. however it's more for inside since the wind is a bit rough on it, and although it has headless mode and return function, when it's too far away it's just to hard to see. still tons of fun and surprisingly durable for what it is. the other issue I had with it, and I'm not the best quad flyer in the world, is on the second mode it is crazy erratic, almost to the point of uncontrollable. but if your skilled enough you may fair better in that area than I did.

Great for learning but is now malfunctioning. The drone is pretty responsive and taught me the controls pretty quick I did buy this drone for the same purpose learn to fly at low cost Sad after 10days of use now it just drifts very steeply in one direction hence the lift fails noticed one rotor to be poor in revs If it doesn't improve after a recharge will send it back Noticeably the rotor guard is very close to the rotor and because of plastic parts and hits once in a while the guard and rotor touch each other at high rpms , should be designed better Update: After requesting for a return they gladly understood the situation and instead sent a new one The new one was working very well But then within a few days on experimenting I find that on swapping the battery of the old to the new, the new one gives me the same problem. After a few more days and I notice that the old battery does not charge anymore So the rotor not spinning properly is to my conclusion a poor battery voltage situation Considering it is pretty new less than a month and the battery fades away implies a quality issue to me. But yes thanks to the great customer service
