I have always been somewhat tragic when trying to make a straight and clean cut across different types of paper when I am crafting. Now that I have this easy to use paper trimmer each line is clean, sharp and most of all straight. You can use it to slice paper for just ordinary straight cuts but in addition to that you can make perfect 45 and 90 angle cuts as well. You can cut up to 12 sheets at a time which makes quick work of cutting wrapping paper during the holidays. I work with a medium weighted cardstock that also can be easily cut Instead of having the old style school cutter where you lift the handle and lay down the blade and the blade is easily exposed and a temptation for little hands this cutter has a small trimmer that slides back and forth with a bit of pressure in order to expose the blade which I believe is easier for little hands. I am pleased with this and find myself going to it quite often.

Absolutely love this as an inexpensive alternative to all of the "brand" guillotines advertised for crafts. originally purchased it specifically for accurately cutting pieces of vinyl for my silhouette cameo 3 but it's also come in handy for cutting coupons and straight lines through really any random pieces of paper.
