Had no problem using these at all. I initially got them so i could do group training meetings. I didnt want to feel like I was disturbing everyone in my house, but I needed everyone in the online mtg to be able to hear me clearly. My son has somehow used them as a fill in when his gaming headset mic broke. I do clip the mic to my shirt but I run the string out the sleeve so that as Im showing displays, I dont get tangled and perhaps pull it enough to knock over my laptop. The cord is a good length. The clip can be adjusted or even removed if you wanted. The sound quality is pretty good considering the price. The one thing Id like is if the line close to the mic were the kind where you could position the mic and it stayed. I dont want the mic lying on my shirt and making noises as I move. If i give it more line, I dont feel as "in control" of where the mic is. Everyone says they hear me though.

Here is what I did: Grabbed paperclip, bent it in an 'L' shape. Wrapped mic around paperclip. Attached lapel clip to headset cord. Zip tied the cord in another position to lock it into place. Put on the headphone and bent the paperclip in an optimal position. Ran a few recordings to check the audio quality of the mic and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound. So if you have a pair of headphones that you're attached to due to comfort/sound/fit and need a fix for recording your voice and do not mind the aesthetics. I recommend these mics as a nice way to complement and provide a quick fix.

i can attach this to my phone which is seated in my Zeadio Smartphone Video Rig(another great buy). the length of the mic cord is long enough so I have freedom of movement with my rig/phone. I clip it on my collar next to throat, and its awesome. however, it does a poor job for collecting surrounding sounds. i still pick up ambient stuff... but its kindof muted. im gonna get a Y splitter and mount one of these on my rig within a "cup" that way it will be a poor persons directional mic. its also long enough if you wanted to give it to someone to use as a simple mic. 3 feet range.

These microphones sure do come in handy. I have used these for interviews, films, and behind the scenes footage. Honestly, you will need to adjust the levels in post. It doesn't always work on the first time, so if you are shooting something extremely important and time sensitive - I would avoid using these HUACAM. Still, they are great for your production kit. They can serve as backups/spares to your more expensive and premium lav mics.

I am so thrilled with this. As a teacher, I use my voice all day, every day. It can be quite taxing, but since using this, I can remain mobile and everyone can still hear me without havingto strain or raise my voice. Apparently, it does alter or tinnify (if that's a word) your voice a bit, but the built in speaker is definitely loud enough for the entire classd top hear me and the rechargeable battery lasts for weeks. A couple other teachers bought these as well after seeing and using mine.

The only problem with this mic is that it picks up higher voices well. I have a low pitched voice. I use this for war gaming and some of the guys hear themselves on my speaker better than me. My speaker is not set to overpowering, in fact I can hear people two rooms away over the level I have it set to. A little more directional would be better, with a better low band response would be nice.

The only other mics I have are the built in mics in my iphone and my laptop. The noise compared to the iphone is about the same, but my voice is more clear. As for my laptop, there is a weird grinding noise in the background. I think it just might not work for certain recording devices.

These mics are awesome because my son and his friend are making a YouTube channel they're using these laugh Mike's and they sound really really clear I would suggest them to making a YouTube channel but not if you're doing a play or something similar to that they are not wireless so we plug them into a computer underneath the table on the YouTube channel he also uses them to record piano that he plays he loves that there clip-on Mike's great for the price and you can barely see them on your shirt if you put them on the inside and they work really well my son loves them and when I asked him how good they were on a scale of 1 to 10 he said 1000 great Mike

The mics pick up very well. For the size of these mics, you might expect them to be so-so, no I am very pleased. I use one of mine as a mic for my computer. Hey Google (it is so much easier to talk to Google than to type!) I also gave one for the same reason to my Grandson, he love it. (and he talks all the time to his friends online)
