  • Q If using in the living room adjacent to our kitchen where our old smoke detector would go off all the time for even the smallest amount of smoke, will we be able to silence this unit if this happens or is there a way to pause detection for a period of time while cooking? All through the app of course.

  • Q Does this need a gateway to work, or is it possible to connect directly to existing WiFi and access it from Mobile anywhere outside my home network?

    Connected to wifi ,device then goes off line , assume it connects to wifi when detect smoke tested with smoke no alarm bought two both did not alarm, would not even alarm with or without wifi connect useless want my money back tried all combinations no good
