This is a very good entry level mixer. We use it to mix drum machines, keyboards and sounds, as well as guitar amps with microphones. So far, it has proven to be as noise-free and reliable as the Mackie mixer. The built-in effect is also very good, especially the "room" effect can add a better depth to the mix.

If you're looking for a simple mixer that mixes up to 12 channels, you don't have to look any further. You may not find something better at this price. As an amateur, I used 6 channels and finished recording in 30 minutes, I was able to control each channel and see the results. This is much better than the software-based channel mixer I used in the past, and you don't have a real sense of control over software-based mixers.

This mixer works well for the money. It has 12 channels which is very useful, and it has great amp controls and volume leveling. I am impressed by this mixer a lot. There are much better ones out there, but nothing near the quality for the price. Mine was missing the second PFL button, but this is only an aesthetic flaw. I'm sure there's a chance of getting one that doesn't work considering the manufacturing, but that's what the return policy is for! This is a very good mixer for starting to record!
