I combined this with a monopod for supporting a heavy f2.8 tele lens. This has locking screws for all three degrees of freedom and after a little adjustment, allowed me to pan and elevate to follow the action for lacrosse games while still supporting the majority of the weight of my lens. Saved my back!

I use this for my pro camera and a virtual tour camera which is quite heavy over 6#. The ball head keeps everything where you set it. With the two friction knobs, I can slightly tighten as needed to allow some movement in the equipment without the head fighting my adjustment. This allows to move my camera snugly to adjust for composition or leveling alignment and yet feel secure.

Once I pulled my head out of the wrapper, the first thing I noticed was its weight. It is a heavy metal that feels very powerful and well made! The knobs are made of rubber and are very comfortable and large enough to tighten well. The bubble level at the top is perfect for leveling the camera, and the rotation is as smooth as my Manfrotto head of $300. Magical product, I will recommend it!

I want a cheap Ark's ball head that fits the Induro 2 Stealth tripod and fits snugly into its soft case when installed. I have connected the Ark adapter to the camera and two longer lenses for use with the universal head. Quick tests have shown that this applies to these adapter plates and securely secures the D810 and lens. I am not sure what the third command is doing; one is obviously bread, one is obviously the main ball, and the other is unknown. In a similar unit, it is called "fine tuning", but I really can't detect anything related to sports, so I might put it aside and forget it is there.

I bought this for the Joby Gorillapod SLR-Zoom (now called 5K). I used the Peak Design capture clip on the camera, then I opened the board, so I needed an Arca compatible ball. I am very happy to look around before buying Job, because I saved about $60, I like this feature! I really like the ability to shoot portraits using the level on the on-board adjustment knob. This structure looks very durable and has been hit so far, but when I walk and backpackers, I will try to remember to update it.

I like the price and the availability. This is my first ball, so I have nothing to compare it with. I use my Panasonic G7 camera on a Manfrotto 3001 tripod. I want to buy a more expensive ball, but I decided to try this because the price is too low, the comments here are very good. I am very happy to have traveled this road and I want to do something. This is an accidental use. Maybe one day I'll buy a more expensive one, but now ... this is exactly what I need!

This is a very tough ball-head camera stand, not just for the sake of money, but in general. To be honest, I want to pay $50-75 for this, but at the time of this writing, it is $15 and some changes. The movement is slightly hard, but very soft, I prefer to be slightly stiff and swaying. highly recommended.
