I like this stone, but I must say it's definitely something I had to adjust to. Since it is harder and finer grit than my other stones, I had to get used to how long it takes for a slurry to form and how different it feels to sharpen on this stone. I must say, it definitely helps me get an even sharper edge on my blades and adds a bit more of a shine to the edge (kind of polishes the edge up). I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get an even sharper edge on their blades. You should still keep some courser grit stones on hand than this though, as I wouldn't start with this unless your blade is already really sharp.
