Pros: Simple hookup, USB very straightforward. Adapter included gives you options between DB9 & DB25 connectivity. Cons: Was not able to communicate with the uninteruptable power supply. Connected device and drivers installed successfully. It showed up in the device manager and assigned it a COM port but it did not communicate. Bottomline: I don't have any other RS232 devices to try this out with. But this did not work with the Opti-UPS device that I purchased it for.
