  • No it will not. Get a normal Super Clamp.

      This clamp is so useful, I bought it to support my Tascam DR-60 MK11 recorder, for video work with a camcorder. I made up a small bracket and the Tascam and clamp attach to the centre stem of the tripod at eye level, perfect. This is such a handy item to have in the camera bag.

      Only used once so far, attached to the bar on top of a chain linked fenced and shot a time lapsed video. Worked fine.

      I actually do love these things, I have about 5 of them. I use them everywhere, on my gimbal, at the end of light stands, on stands to hold boom mic poles, they really are innovative and have helped me through many pinches because I don't have a large crew to hold things for 30-60 minutes at a time. This + a light stand takes the place of a boom mic operator, for instance, unless your subject is moving around, then we need to splurge for the sound guy. But hey, you think of an application for these clamps, and so long as the other piece of the puzzle has a 1/4" or 3/8" screw to marry to it, the sky is the limit.

      These things are AMAZING. They work great, they're solid, they're nice and heavy. I use them to mount lights, small monitors, anything that'll go on the end of a magic arm. The screw-action is very smooth. There seems to be no "play" in the jaws. Once you tighten it down, it stays there. I've bought something like FIVE of these things, and I love them. SO much better than spending two or three or four times as much from one of the "brand names." Good stuff!!

      Simple, effective and the right kind of price, what more needs to be said? I have already used this to hold a flash gun and will be using it later for holding a reflector once I have a suitable clip sorted out. I heartily recommend this item.
