      I was a little disappointed with the unit at first. The claimed functions do not seem to all be there. But what is there is well thought out and gave me the capability I needed. I have only used it twice though. It is fairly straight forward as to operations and the book is reasonably clear. (Most writers have trouble because they are thinking that everyone knows the vernacular that they use, which might not be the case.)

      I had a check engine light on and did not know for sure what could be causing this. I called the dealership for my Audi and it was going to cost me over $180.00 just for running a diagnostics alone. I purchased this scan tool hoping I could detect what the issue was and then proceed to fix it. I received the scan tool pretty quick and downloaded the latest version of the software. Updated the software and then connected the scan tool. The tool was easy to navigate through and I ran diagnostics. The codes shown indicated there was some spark plug misfires on cylinder 1 and 3. I replaced the spark plugs and the coils. Started the car and bingo check engine LED is off. I am very happy and satisfied with this scan tool. It payed for itself in one day.

      arrived at the time indicated when purchased. easy to operate and saved me several hundred dollars the first day. easy to use. Unhappy that I was not informed that the software that accompanied it would only work with windows seven and vista. This tells me it is an old unit or older model. If not for that I would probably give it 5 stars. So far I have not been successful on autel's website at registering it and downloading up to date software. They don't list this model on the registration site and don't permit it to be put in manually. Again, this suggests and old model I think but it is still a good little machine. Probably why the price was so good.

      Works fine, I bought a different brand a year before buying a second car which other scanner missed from being able to read codes by one year. This scanner will cover many other years. shipped fast
