Is the sensor wire long enough to mount on the rear wheel?

  • No. it barely reaches from my front axle to the handle bar.

      High marks for price/performance. Has all the functions most people will need and the MPH display is large and easily readable. Set-up is relatively straight forward. I would recommend determining the wheel circumference by rolling it forward one revolution and measuring the distance, converting to millimeters, for the best accuracy. The battery compartment seems to be sized for a larger, CR-2032, battery so it was a surprise to find a much smaller battery, already installed. Don't know how long it will last but at least it was supplied. My only installation issue was with the zip ties. First one broke off at the head and this was hand tightened with minimal force. Thinking that was a fluke I tried a second with the same result. Luckily I had a pack of zip ties and used those. Be prepared to replace them as they mount the sensor and display. Bottom line: Works well with all the information most of us will ever need at a bargain price.
