A servo with futaba or JR connector
For some reason you have to reposition the left stick so it goes up and down instead of side to side. The right stick is shared with the rudder

I'd say it's good for both. Servos will depend on the size plane or car you are working with. They won't really have anything to do with this. I'm personally using this for my remote controlled lawnmower.

Yes, however this transmitter is designed for aircraft and uses a aircraft frequency. I think you would be more comfortable using a transmitter with a wheel steering than using sticks. If you are buying it so you can use all 6 channels then yes it will work.

Worked for all of two days before quitting none of the sticks respond anymore even though the receiver shows its bound. I've tried reloading settings, rebinding the receiver and nothing. The only input that's registered is down on the right stick, but the receiver doesn't even pick that up. I have no idea what happened. It was working fine and suddenly stopped working all together. Edit: After searching some fours and researchING my problem further I realized my transmitter only needed recalibration. I had to buy the digital radio software, but it is only $2 and is well worth the investment. If you buy this radio, then you really really should buy digital radio as well. You can get a free demo, but you'll need to buy it to do the calibration. Minus one story for one of the toggle switches breaking after a couple days of use, but I'm tech savvy and was able to easily replace and fix the switch.

Good system for the price. if you need instructions to set these systems up, you should be buying at your local hobby shop and pay the price. i am currently using ten of these radios and have not purchased anything else for the past three years. I fly fifteen hundred flights a year plus and several of these systems have well over one thousand flights on them. only problem i have ever had is when ordering replacement receivers usually for crash damage. and i have yet to receive one that would. work. forget about returning anything made in China even if it is defective. you bought it you got it and it is not worth the time or money to return anything. ACCAFLITE RC.

-.75 for not having a return-to-zero spring on the left side and another .25 for including non-standard dis-assembly screw heads. I found the following instructions on the net: On the 6 channel receiver the top connector is the battery connector and it is also where you put the bind plug in when binding it. If you only have a 2 pin battery plug make sure you plug it in so that the black wire is on the right and the red wire is in the middle, the pin on the left will be empty. If you have a 3 pin, 2 wire connector the same applies but you won’t have an empty pin. This is all clearly marked on the receiver. ** If you plug it in wrong you will blow up your receiver ** Now let’s get started; 1) Plug the battery plug into channel 1 (remember red wire in the middle, black on the right). 2) Plug the bind loop into the top connector (marked BAT). 3) There should now be a little red flashing light at the top of the receiver. 4) Put batteries into your transmitter and look at the front of it. 5) On the bottom left hand corner there is a small black circle (BIND RANGE TEST is on the left). 6) Press and hold this circle in and whilst holding it down turn the transmitter on. 7) The flashing red light will now be solid red. 8) Remove the battery plug from the receiver. 9) Remover the bind plug from the receiver. 10)Turn the transmitter off (this stores the settings). The transmitter is now bound to the receiver so when you next plug the battery plug in and turn the transmitter on the red light will come on solid showing it is ready to go.
